Multitasking Favorite β€οΈ
Those of you who have seen my previous posts (feel free to follow me!) know that I am completely sold on the Spanish Niche Beauty Lab π§ͺ β and this is the reason, the "culprit," the causeβ¦ THE REASON! This product is worth its weight in gold for my dry, sensitive cheeks that easily flare up with rosacea β and that many times can't handle active ingredients like acids without a serious flare-up afterward. But this one? WOW! I started carefully (a few nights a week on cleansed and dry skin) but now use it both morning and night β‘ it has NOT caused me any irritation at all! It works against premature skin aging and really reduces both redness and those small red bumps that can appear when the skin is out of balance β like after a full day at a soccer tournament wearing a cap instead of the sun hat I should have had ππ The texture is very light, and if you need more moisture, it's fine to layer a pure hydrating serum on top. I use it right after toner/essence β with cream and/or UV protection on top. Tip for extra sensitive skin: mix it with your cream at first! Azid is fragrance-free, non-comedogenic, and combines active ingredients β 15% azelaic acid with soothing colloidal oats and barrier-strengthening ceramides β a really nice balance that makes it both gentle and effective π₯ It really feels like a treatment for the skin β but for everyday use! Combination with other products
I have been using this product for about three weeks now. I usually use it in the evening in combination with Toriden balanceful toner pad, finishing with La roche posay effaclar duo M. The comment was made 4 daysHello! π Mild tingling/burning can be completely normal with 15% azelaic acid, and the combination with toner pads and Effaclar Duo M can be a bit too active in one evening. Try using the azelaic acid 2β3 evenings at the start and alternate: one evening with Theramid on completely dry skin (pea-sized amount), and another evening with toner OR Effaclar Duo M, optionally "buffer" with a thin layer of moisturizer if you are sensitive. If the burning lasts more than 30β60 minutes, you become clearly red, peel a lot, or get sores, reduce usage or take a break until the skin calms down. Amazing product!
This serum is amazing because it truly calms down the skin. I must admit that at the beginning I thought this serum was doing "nothing", but I continued it to use it until I started seeing real results (around the 2nd month mark). My skin gets red easily, but not when I use this serum the night before, the slight texture of my forehead has also vanished completely. Transition from 10% to 15%
Hi! Over the past year/years, I've been using Common Clouds which is 10%. It works well and I've been using it both morning and evening every day for a long time, never reacted to it. I want to try a stronger one now and wonder how best to make the transition? Should I introduce 15% gradually like when starting Azelaic Acid for the first time, or can I switch directly? If I should start gradually β should I continue with Common Clouds on the days I don't test this, or stop it completely during the transition? I have sensitive skin (but as mentioned, never been sensitive to Common Clouds) and a history of severe acne which I luckily got rid of after isotretinoin treatment a few years ago.2145 views- The user's roll: Lyko Creator. Gamechanger!
Before I started with this az. acid, I began by acclimating my skin with 10% of the ordinary, but also la roche posay's version called az creme. Now I use this every other night and my skin loves it. However, I use a calming serum beforehand since I also use adapalene 0.1% every other night. The combination is unbeatable for acne-prone skin that is also sensitive. For the best effect, try combining it with exfoliation 1-2 times a week and give it a bit more time, skincare requires patience, especially since pigmentation and large pores can take longer to improve. Results may vary depending on the individual needs of the skin. Also, remember to use sunscreen daily to prevent the pigmentation from worsening. Ceramide Treatment, powered with 3% of pure ceramides and 1% Ectoin, helps restore optimal skin hydration levels. This results in reinforcing the skin's barrier function to prevent transepidermal water loss. Thus, providing long-lasting hydration, preventing dryness, and protecting the skin against external aggressors responsible for premature skin aging.
Apply daily morning and night on a previously cleansed face. Massage gently with fingertips until completely absorbed. You can apply it alone or combine it with your favorite serum or moisturizer. In the morning, always apply sunscreen with protection 30 or higher.
