Really good shampoo for fine hair
I have tested the Redken Acidic Grow Full System Shampoo, and overall it is a really good shampoo, especially if you have fine hair and want more volume. The shampoo has a fresh and slightly citrusy scent, which is not too strong, but still leaves the hair with a clean and pleasant fragrance after washing. The texture is light and a bit gel-like, and it lathers quickly in the hair. You don't need to use much product, which makes it quite economical. After washing, the hair feels clean, soft, and a bit more airy at the roots, without becoming heavy. After some time of use, the hair also seems a bit stronger and less prone to breakage. However, you shouldn't expect the shampoo to make your hair grow faster directly – the effect is more about strengthening the hair and giving it a fuller appearance. All in all, it is a shampoo that gives a good and fresh feeling in the hair and works well for fine hair that lacks some volume. Volume and freshness for many days!
I have previously been a big fan of Redken's Volume Injection, partly because it lifts my thin/fine hair but also because of the scent. Therefore, I was extra excited to try this new volume series, and I am not disappointed. The shampoo cleanses the hair deeply, which makes it feel light, airy, and not weighed down, not even several days after washing. The thing is, I don't think any other shampoo has kept that clean feeling in my hair as long as this one. And it smells very good and DELICIOUS. Very satisfied! Clean and Fragrant Hair
The small bottle is easy to hold in your hand, so you can easily squeeze out the shampoo. A mild and pleasant (maybe a bit masculine) scent spreads when you start lathering it up in your hair. On the first dose, I squeezed out WAY too much. It is really economical in use, so I dosed what corresponds to a 10 cent piece in size next time and that worked fine for my long (but thin) hair. Fuller and healthier hair
I recently tried the Redken Acidic Grow Full System Densifying Shampoo and overall I’m impressed with how it works on Asian fine hair. Its texture feels light and it lathers easily without stripping my scalp — which is important because my roots get greasy quickly but I don’t want my ends to feel squeaky‑dry. The formula genuinely achieves a good balance between cleansing and gentle care: my scalp feels clean and refreshed, and the volume it gives is noticeable right away. After one week, I’ve noticed my hair looks thicker and feels more manageable. It doesn’t weigh the strands down, and the ends stay softer compared to stronger cleansing shampoos that leave them brittle. I have used this shampoo for two weeks and feel that my hair feels cleaner and softer after washing. Fantastic!
I have very thin, fine Scandinavian hair and have also lost a lot of hair over a longer period. Therefore, I was incredibly excited to try this series from Redken, and it has truly delivered! The series not only makes my hair incredibly fresh and shiny but also strengthens my thin hair. The shampoo lathers wonderfully and has a pleasant scent. My hair feels full and luxurious after washing and stays that way for several days. I feel like I’m losing significantly less hair than before both when washing and brushing. More Volume
The shampoo lathers well, is long-lasting in use, and neither weighs down nor greases my hair. The scent is fresh, a bit citrusy. I have used the entire series together and notice more fullness and volume in my hair! Personally, my hair gets a bit dry from this series, as my hair needs extra moisture. Love it!
I have fine and thin hair that can quickly look flat, so I was excited to try this shampoo from Redken. After using it for a while, I find that my hair feels more airy and gets a nicer lift at the roots. The shampoo cleanses the hair well without weighing it down, which is important to me, as many volumizing shampoos can otherwise make my hair fall flat.
