    Microplastics

This shampoo contains microplastics. Why is it still listed in the eco category?

Hi Miriam ❤️ Thank you for reaching out and asking an important question! REF. Intense Hydrate Shampoo is labeled as "eco" with us because the brand REF. uses natural ingredients and works with environmentally friendly production, recyclable packaging, and vegan formulas. At the same time, I completely understand your reaction if the product contains ingredients that can be categorized as microplastics. Some ingredients (like certain polymers) can fall into a gray area – they are often used to provide texture or effect in the product, and are approved in cosmetics, but are discussed in environmental contexts. We take such feedback seriously and will investigate further how the product is classified with us, so we ensure correct and clear information. Thank you so much for bringing this to our attention!

    Perfect for dry scalp

I have curly hair, but also a dry scalp. I love this shampoo because it both moisturizes and cleanses the hair! Highly recommend 🤩

  • Sulfate-free shampoo

I have a question regarding sulfate-free shampoos. If you use a shampoo that is free from both silicones and parabens, should you then avoid leave-in conditioners, serums, and hair oils.? Since these often contain silicones that are not washed out with all shampoos. Or is it safe to use leave-in and serum if it’s from the same line and brand?

Hey 😊👋 If you use both shampoo and leave-in or serum from the same brand and line, these are often designed and formulated to work together (without causing build-up on the hair strands) 🤍 If you want to complement with leave-in conditioner, serum, or hair oils from other brands, you can double-check that they don’t contain ingredients that can’t be washed out with a sulfate-free shampoo. You can also use a mild deep-cleansing shampoo once a week to keep your hair clean from any build-up if you’re worried about silicones 🥰 All the best!

    EXTREMELY GOOD

Got this shampoo recommended by my hairdresser. It is silicone-free, which you find in many of the cheaper shampoos on the market. This has made my hair much easier to absorb all the moisturizing products I've put in, so it has become super soft!
