    Not for coily hair

    I have chemically straightened hair that is tightly coiled and medium-to-coarse textured in its natural state with moderate density. This tool doesn’t get hot enough to get a smooth finished look. I end up needing to flatiron my hair after. I might as well skip this tool all together and stick to blowdrying and straightening after. Might work for touching up day 2 hair with less heat.

    Really nice

    Really nice, but it probably suits a really straight hair type better, or right after washing + conditioner. I have a very coarse hair type myself, and it feels like the hair gets stuck in the brush and doesn't glide properly. However, if you brush really well on each section beforehand, it's totally okay. And I mean, nice waves definitely come 😊

    Dry/wet hair?

    Should you only use this on dry hair or can you use it on towel-dried hair too? :) It would be convenient to find a tool where it’s enough to bring just one device for drying + styling, for example on trips or to the gym if there’s no hairdryer available there.
