Maria Nila Finishing Spray is truly one of those styling products that I think makes a big difference when the hairstyle is already done but needs that last little touch. 🤍 I love when the hair still feels soft and alive, but at the same time looks more polished and well thought out. For me, a good finishing spray is like the cherry on top. I usually use it when I’ve styled my hair and want the hairstyle to feel more complete. It can be after I’ve blow-dried my hair, shaped my waves, or just fixed the lengths with my hands. A few light sprays and then I usually let the hair be. ✨ It’s a very simple final step, but I think it can make a surprisingly big difference to the overall impression. What I like most is that I can still have movement in my hair. I really don’t want my hair to feel like a stiff helmet just because I use hairspray. I much prefer when the hairstyle holds together while the hair still feels natural and touchable. That’s exactly the feeling I want when I use a finishing spray. I also think it’s great when I want to tame flyaways and make the hairstyle look a bit more polished. After styling, there can sometimes be a few small strands sticking out in different directions, and then I think a little spray can help make the whole look more cohesive. 🌸 Another thing I appreciate is that I can use it for many different hairstyles. It works just as well when I have a pretty simple everyday look as when I’ve spent more time on my hair and want the styling to feel a bit more glamorous. I don’t have to adjust my whole routine around it. I also like being able to bring it out after other styling products. For example, if I’ve used mousse or texture spray to create volume and shape, I can finish with Finishing Spray to make everything feel more complete. It’s like the last step that ties the whole styling together. 🤍 For me, Maria Nila Finishing Spray is therefore a real everyday favorite. It’s a simple product, but it makes me feel a little more put together when my hair is done. Meh
So. It’s good, but a bit too good for its own packaging. Right now I have this at home and it can’t spray anything out no matter how hard I press – this is because it easily "clogs" from hairspray, and despite cleaning and trying to make the hole bigger, the spray just doesn’t work properly. This is the second time it’s happened to me and it’s a bit annoying. 😅 Other than that, when it works as it should, it’s good, but be prepared that it really makes the hair super "hard" and you can really feel that you have hairspray in your hair, but if you brush your hair out afterwards, it doesn’t feel the same way. Maria Nila Style & Finish Finishing Spray was unfortunately not a hit for me. Bad cork
