    Heat Protection

    We are trying different heat protectants now that you have 25 percent off via SMS and like....12 hours to 🥴 see if I can get a response. What temperature does this protect against/VS their blow dry cream? And is it true that blow dry's like hmm..make blow drying easier than a spray formula? Some pros seem to advocate for this, but I, who have hair that easily gets weighed down and clumps together from too heavy products, get a bit confused about how to choose? I prefer that the cream also gives a bit of hold, does this one do that? Is there any ingredient to look out for to know if the product provides hold when blow drying and possibly also straightening? Thanks in advance 👏😜

      Hey! 👋 Super good questions – and you are absolutely right that it can be confusing when heat protection comes in both spray and cream form. 🔥 Four Reasons Original Styling Mist protects up to about 220 °C. It’s a light spray that doesn’t weigh down the hair, perfect if you have fine or slightly oily hair. It primarily provides heat protection and shine, but also a bit of hold. 💨 Four Reasons Blow Dry Cream protects up to about 230 °C. Since it’s a cream, it helps to smooth out, reduce frizz, and make blow-drying faster (hence it "facilitates" the blow-drying). It gives a bit more control and soft hold, but not a hard "styling-hold". 🧴 Generally, what you’ve heard is true: cream-based products tend to coat the hair strand more and thus provide more control and flexibility, while spray versions feel airier but provide less hold. 💡 If you want to know what actually provides hold, look in the ingredient list for substances like: Polyquaternium-10 / 11 / 16 VP/VA Copolymer PVP Acrylates Copolymer These act as "film formers" and help the hair maintain its shape during blow-drying or straightening 😊👍 For you who easily get heavy hair: feel free to choose Styling Mist for flat iron/curling iron or as the last heat protection, and use Blow Dry Cream sparingly in the lengths when you blow-dry – that way you get both lightness and control without weighing it down. ✨ Good luck 🌟
