I would give 0 stars if I could!
I had a terrible allergic reaction from this sunscreen! I tested the cream only on my left forearm just to be safe, and thank goodness I did... The whole area where I applied the sunscreen itches like crazy, has turned red, and small bumps are starting to appear. The sunscreen also doesn't wash off easily (which would normally be good), regular soap didn't remove the cream at all. In the end, I got the cream off with olive oil, makeup remover, and fairy, but my hand still feels unpleasant :( ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE PRODUCT, I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE!!!1 product in post I would give 0 stars if I could!1337 views- The user's roll: Skin therapist at Lyko. Every skin is indeed unique, and it can react differently to different products. The ingredients in the products and their combinations can also affect how the skin reacts to them. For example, someone might be allergic to a certain ingredient or combination, or they might cause other skin irritation. When choosing skincare products, it’s definitely important to pay attention to how your own skin reacts to them. I recommend stopping the use of the product immediately and keeping track of which ingredient or property the reaction might have originated from. Another disappointment
I continue my testing of sun protection and have now come to Hawaiian Tropic Glowing Protection SPF 50. The product was part of the By Lyko Lovables inspo-kit The beachy kit. Well, this is not a sunscreen I would recommend either. I find that Hawaiian Tropic is involved in several not yet resolved lawsuits. These concern greenwashing – the dispute is about whether the products are really reef friendly (harmful to coral reefs and marine life). And whether the products do not have the stated SPF 50, but frighteningly only factor 20. Looking at the listed ingredients, I find suspected hormone-disrupting chemicals, chemicals that can affect reproductive ability, chemicals commonly referred to as liquid microplastics (!!!), and perfume – which can cause photoallergy (sun rash or other allergic reactions you otherwise wouldn’t have gotten). None of these chemicals are illegal for use in sunscreen. Yet. It’s all starting to get very sad – sunscreen is the most important product for our skin for us northerners. Sunscreen manufacturers should give us what they promise. Anyway. I tested the sunscreen. Once – so those who still choose to use the product know what to expect. The cream has a mild and pleasant scent – it doesn’t smell like typical sunscreen. The cream is also thin and easy to spread. I didn’t notice the skin getting any shimmer – but I have quite pale skin (I have red hair), so it probably takes a bit for it to show. I won’t use this, and you probably shouldn’t either. Usually, I never mention other brands in my reviews, but now I’m making an exception: If you want a good alternative, I recommend #rudolphcare Sun Body Lotion SPF 50 – also sold here at LYKO. This ranked at the very top in the Consumer Council’s sunscreen test in 2025 PS: I am not a professional skincare expert, and you should verify my claims. #solkrem5 views - The post was made 2 weeks

Much worse than the old one
Absolutely terrible. I've had the one called Satin Protection for many, many years, which seems to have been replaced by this. It doesn't melt into the skin very well, and if you get the slightest bit warm or sweaty, you become super sticky. If you touch your skin, it starts to roll into small flakes. Worthless sunscreen
Doesn't protect against the sun, after 10 days in the Mediterranean I kept getting red and burning with this in spf50. Even though I frequently reapplied the cream. Preparing for the warm holidays so I decided to try this lotion. I have tried other products from Thai brand and they were nice.
