Wilma Holmqvist created Hickap to enable a stress-free beauty routine that comes with joy and the silver lining in life. Skin care and self-care should be pleasurable, energizing and a boost in everyday life. Hickap makes sustainable, clean products – always 100% vegan and containing the most important ingredients to make your skin feel good. We’re part of the beauty industry, but we go our own way guided by values like freedom, inner beauty and wellbeing. We call it Unfake Beauty.
Our goal is to set new standards for just how wonderful and encouraging a beauty routine can feel. All our skincare products are dermatologically tested on sensitive skin – and produced in Sweden with focus on sustainability. Our ingredient philosophy is based on the tried and tested ingredients loved by your skin: hyaluronic acid, niacinamide and mildly exfoliating acids – together with a natural, nautical theme of innovative ingredients from the sea.

Soft and pretty brushes that apply eye makeup nicely. I like the eye brushes much more than their face brushes. My only complaint is that it feels like one or two brushes are missing, especially a smaller rounded brush to blend out eyeliner or eyeshadow more precisely along the lash line or under the eye.
Slightly overhyped but still good brushes. I think they apply makeup nicely regardless of the product. The favorites are 114 Tapered Blush, 115 Round Kabuki, and 112 Angled Kabuki. All the brushes can feel a bit scratchy at first, even after washing.
My biggest complaint is 111 Powder Deluxe. A really bad powder brush in my opinion. It’s way too big, even for powder bronzer, and doesn’t get under the eyes without caking everything. Since it’s so big, it doesn’t handle loose powder well at all. The only thing it’s good for is sweeping powder all over the face, but since it’s a bit pointy, I don’t even think it’s particularly good for that.
I haven’t found a good use for 119 Multi Highlight. It sticks out the most of all the brushes and feels the most unnecessary since the other brushes can be used for highlighter, or it works even better with the finger.
