Does the job but dries out the skin
I have combination skin with very dry cheeks and an oily T-zone. I wear makeup quite a bit anyway, though very rarely - almost never - with foundation or similar because I feel like I can never get it to work with my skin. I also have slightly droopy eyelids, and both eyeshadow primer and setting spray are A and O for my eye makeup to last all day. This one absolutely does the job, and the eyeshadow doesn't crease, and I feel like my skin stays more matte than otherwise. However, I find that it dries out my dry areas a lot. I now try to focus the spray only over my eyes and avoid my cheeks. I also tested the other matte setting spray from Hickap but didn't feel like it mattified at all, as far as I remember, which is why I tried this one instead. Smells very fresh like green apples. 🍏 A bit torn about whether it will be a repurchase, probably not. Defective product
The first bottle I got when I ordered sprayed a straight stream, then I got a new one from Lyko that worked well at first but now that one has also started spraying a straight stream. Cannot recommend.
I've had a terrible allergic reaction around my eyes every time I've used this. It contains something really bad that I'm allergic to. Reacts & gets sticky
Doesn't work at all for me. If I spray more than a tiny bit, my skin reacts and gets all red and warm. I also think, like so many others, that it makes you sticky and that it sprays more like a stream than a cloud, which makes it hard to apply evenly.
