    Expiration

    I received my package on 12/23 with an expiration date of 12/14. I placed the order on 12/20, so an expired product was also sent in this order… How safe is it to use?

    So disappointed! It said there was a discounted price due to short date, so I was aware of that. But that it would be an expired date was not something I was aware of!

    I received my package on 12/20 and the date on this is 12/13 - so completely expired!! I chose to try it anyway - to see if it could yield results - but NO!! What do you have to say about this, Lyko? Is it okay to deliver expired products?

    It says that a lamp should blink when charging. Nothing blinks, nothing lights up, I've tested different chargers. Is there something wrong with the product or am I doing something wrong?

    Note. Short date

    The kit is being sold at a nice price right now, but it doesn't say anywhere that it's due to a short date. I received my kit today and reacted. The product has a best before date in December 2024! I don't know how often one should use this product, but I hope one can use up all the refills before the date passes 🤔 Haven't tested the product yet, so I can't say anything about the results.

What is VIO405 light technology?
We have completely redesigned the Teeth Whitening Kit from the inside out to deliver the world’s first at-home VIO405 light. Illuminated by 32 LEDs as opposed to the 5 in traditional devices, and operating on a shorter wavelength. This new violet light activates our PAP+ formula like never before.

What is PAP+?
PAP+ is our award-winning whitening formula, which has been clinically proven to not cause pain or sensitivity during the whitening process. The active whitening ingredient in our PAP+ formula is PAP (Phthalimidoperoxycaproic Acid), which is a safe and effective alternative to peroxide, that doesn’t release free radicals during whitening.

Use:
Getting started
Begin the treatment at night, by brushing teeth thoroughly for 2 minutes before use.

Apply PAP+ Primer
Apply a layer of PAP+ Primer to each tooth. Wait 10 seconds then expel excess before beginning the whitening treatment.

Apply formula
Each Refill contains enough gel for a single whitening treatment. Twist off the cap, and apply half to the top of the mouth tray, and the other half of to the bottom of the mouth tray.

Beginning the treatment
Power on the VIO405 Device by gently pressing and holding the Hismile logo on the front side of the device. Place the device in your mouth until the device automatically powers off after 10 minute treatment. Expel any excess gel and rinse mouth thoroughly with water.

Maintaining the device
The VIO405 Device is water-resistant (IPX6), so you can clean the mouth tray with water or a wet cloth after use.
