Magic in a bottle!
This serum from KERASTASE is a serum that is primarily meant to combat dry and irritated scalp but also boost with lots of moisture! It is, among other things, a perfect serum for you who want to use it every day without it becoming oily and sticky!! Pluses with the product! + Smells good + Easy pipette + Distributes well + Doesn't get sticky or oily + Rehydrates + Can be applied every day (Tip is to blow-dry it in if you feel it gives a "dusty" shine effect) Minuses with the product: - Somewhat expensive.. - Very runny but that’s a preference Overall, I think this product is incredibly good, I really feel a difference in my scalp and would say it gives an even better effect if you massage the serum in with the help of your hands or a small hair massage tool. The serum can be used every day unlike many other serums that make the hair greasy and dirty!! Did not meet my expectations
I had the opportunity to test some products from KERASTASE NUTRITIVE. Which has been fun and exciting since I have always used other products for my hair for a long time. I have never tested KERASTASE before. I have long but thin and dry hair that easily becomes frizzy and has an incredibly sensitive scalp. This is supposed to be a serum that moisturizes the scalp. An extremely nice bottle that looks luxurious, but I felt no change. My scalp is incredibly sensitive and dry, especially in winter. I have tried applying the serum both on wet and dry hair but still experience no difference. Disappointing since I was excited about this product. Pros: ⭐️ Nice bottle with a dropper ⭐️ Glass bottle that gives a luxurious feel Negatives: ➖ Runny consistency. I can barely get the dropper out before the serum drips from the dropper. ➖ Maybe a bit expensive I can probably say that I am a little disappointed. I was very excited to see if my scalp liked this. What’s good to keep in mind is that Genesis should be used once a day for best results, while Nutritive can be used as needed, it will probably be too much to use it every day. So a couple of days a week is usually just right, depending on how dry your scalp is 🤍 If you choose to use both serums under the same routine, it can be good to think about that the serum you choose to apply first will be the one that has the greatest effect upon application. So if you are unusually dry in the scalp this evening, I recommend applying Nutritive first for example 😊 PHEW! Not good
I actually got to test products from Kerastase. First, I took this scalp serum for testing because I wanted to try it first since I have never used scalp serums before, because they make my hair look dirty and greasy even if I just washed it. And this one did not make an exception. The serum is for daily use, and the instructions say "massage, dry with a hairdryer" and I really don’t want to use a hairdryer every day, so it’s problematic. The hair ends up looking dirty. So the product itself isn’t bad, but the user is. I just don’t know how to use it, and I can’t just apply the product to the scalp because it’s so runny that it messes up the hair too. I would like to give full points, but because I can’t use the product and mess up all my hair, I have to give only two stars. I still emphasize that the product can be good and functional, but I just can’t use it. I have to use so little product that this serum lasts a really long time. It says 2-4 doses (the line on the pipette is one dose) depending on hair thickness. But I don’t dare to use probably even one dose just because it makes the hair look dirty. This is more for those who generally use scalp serums and know how to use them. Small update to this. (7.1.2025) I have now only used it on the days I have showered. A little unsure here
This one wasn't suitable for me and my head, I feel. I've never had or struggled with dry scalp either, so maybe this is the culprit for my hair being a bit more static from the testing🤨 I also never used very much of this, and dripped a few drops around my scalp and massaged it in lightly😊 (like 3-5 drops for each part I divided it into). Used much less than the measurement on the pipette. I haven't tested Kerastase before now, so it's completely new for me and my hair. It was very liquid, but I liked the pipette solution for this🤩 And it's economical in use👊🏼 And the smell is DELICIOUS, I think. Never dry scalp again
