Over the past two weeks, I have had the exciting task of testing and evaluating the #lykotestpilot creamy eye treatment with avocado 🥑 as #kiehls. Here is my honest review: A little about me and my skin: 🖤 Oily, sensitive skin type that easily becomes dry and occasionally suffers from barrier damage. 🖤 Easily irritated, red skin around the eyes year-round due to eczema. 🖤 I just turned 30, so I have a few fine lines under my eyes that are more pronounced when my skin is dry. My first observations: 🫙 Handy, easy-to-use packaging with a nice, minimalist design - right up my alley! The jar feels solid in material, giving me a bit of everyday luxury feeling. 🌿 Super lovely, really green color. It does say 'avocado' on the packaging, but I didn't expect this color, rather a white cream which is otherwise very common. Fun! ☁️ Just as promised on the packaging - incredibly creamy in consistency! Pros: 💐 Fragrance-free! For me with sensitive skin that can react quite unpleasantly to scented products with both redness, stinging, and itching, this is a gigantic plus. 💧 The product feels properly moisturizing right upon application and for several hours afterward without feeling greasy. 🫳🏽 Easy to work with and absorbs quickly for being so creamy in consistency. 💄 I wear makeup on weekdays and have problems in winter with both concealer and powder settling into the tiniest dry flakes under and around my eyes, highlighting the dryness. With this cream as a base, I found it easier to apply makeup just under the eyes, and the flakes were significantly less pronounced over time. Here, my expectations were truly exceeded; I never thought that after several years of flaking skin and patchy concealer under my eyes, I would be able to get rid of that problem. Woohoo! 🤏🏽 Incredibly economical - a tiny dab goes a long way! Cons: ➖ Nah, I actually can't think of anything. The bottom line: Finally (!) an eye cream that my skin can tolerate without getting cranky. Moisturizing, good base under makeup, cozy consistency, lovely color, nice packaging AND fragrance-free. What's not to love? Since I can't find anything negative to comment on, plus the fact that the product actually exceeded my expectations and improved my flaking-under-eye situation, my rating is therefore undoubtedly 5 out of 5. I got to try Kiehl's Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado through #lykotestpilot. I have previously used Kiehl's Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado and know that it is really good. It is a rich creamy mask for the eye area that provides lots of moisture. The consistency is wonderful and must be experienced! I am 30+ and have sensitive combination skin. My eye area feels rehydrated and fine lines are blurred after each use of Kiehl's Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado. Sometimes I apply a thicker layer as a night mask and sometimes a thinner layer as cream both day and night. My skin loves the product and I have not experienced any irritation at all. Extra moisture for dry eyes
The winter cold has really not been kind to the skin around my eyes this past month. With temperatures around -10 degrees, the area around my eyes has felt drier than ever – tight, thin, and almost a little wrinkled from all the dryness. So when I as #lykotestpilot received #kiehls Creamy Eye Treatment, it felt almost like perfect timing on the order. The first thing I noticed was how rich the consistency is. It’s creamy, almost a little greasy, but melts nicely in when you gently pat it in. It feels instantly softening, especially in the mornings when the skin feels the driest, wrinkliest, and most tired. What stood out to me was how moisturizing it is without becoming heavy or sticky. Many richer eye creams can feel too greasy or leave a film, but this one sinks in nicely and feels balanced despite its rich consistency. It works just as well in the morning as it does in the evening and gives a long-lasting soft feeling. For me, it absolutely lived up to expectations – especially in this cold climate where few products help my skin. A little about me: I’m 39 years old, have dry skin by nature, and the area around my eyes is especially vulnerable in winter. I easily get dry lines and atopic eczema on my eyelid. When my skin gets really dry, it looks almost wrinklier than it actually is, so I’m very picky when it comes to my skincare. The result was softer, more hydrated skin around the eyes and less prominent dryness lines. That “wrinkle-dry” feeling calmed down, and the skin looked plumper and smoother. To boost extra, I’ve used the Revive Eye Serum from Beauty of Joseon under the eye cream, and together they’ve given a great and moisturizing result. The combination has really helped the skin feel restored despite the cold when I often get dry patches. Surprisingly good eye cream
I got to test this in connection with Lyko. I am a regular Kiehl's user but actually hadn't tried this before! 🥑 The packaging works. The jar always feels luxurious even though I prefer tubes. However, the small jar feels just perfect in size. Easy to carry. I LOVE small packages. I have incredibly sensitive skin under my eyes. I've had problems for several years with reacting to products and after a pregnancy, I've had issues with hyperpigmentation under my eyes. I'm also starting to age, I'm 33 years old and it shows under my eyes! I can use very few eye creams, but I can now add this one to my list! The formula is very creamy and rich! It feels incredibly nice on the skin and the shea butter feels like gold now during the winter months! You know when you try something for the first time and you know right away YES, me like! ✨ I've used this morning and night as well as under makeup, I actually find that the concealer settles less under my eyes when I use a very thin layer before makeup.
