Kiehl's

I have a love for Kiehl's products, and I like most of them, but I'm a bit unsure about this mask. I don't feel like it reaches all the way to my heart unfortunately 😏 The mask is creamy in consistency and contains, among other things, turmeric and cranberry. Hence the yellow color of the mask. The scent is natural and nothing that bothers. The design of the jar itself is nice and easy to use. What I find disturbing, however, are the crushed seeds from the cranberries that are supposed to gently exfoliate the skin. The problem with the seeds is that when the mask has dried on the skin, they are difficult to remove. The mask should sit on the skin for 10 minutes and can be used several times a week for a finer glow, more even and softer skin. Also avoid the area around the eyes. The mask is also supposed to be gentle on the skin. The question is then whether I think the mask is as gentle as it claims to be, and the answer is no, I don't think so. On a good day, my skin can handle most things, but on a bad day, my skin can handle nothing at all. The positive thing is that it lasts a long time and you don't need to use much. I don't know why I bought a large jar when I could have bought a small one. If I ever buy the mask again, I will go for a smaller jar. Nice mask but not nice enough. I can promise there won't be any more purchases of this mask for a while. #lykoreview

A mild and soft facial scrub that is suitable for the opposite gender as well. I got a tip in the store to buy this as I was looking for a gentle product since I have sensitive skin, and I do not regret the purchase 🤩 The consistency of the scrub is compact when squeezed out but at the same time soft and fine-grained. I like that the scrub comes in a tube packaging, which makes it easier to get the product out. The scent is a bit reminiscent of mint and something else, but I can't quite place what it is. Especially when the scrub comes into contact with the face, you get a refreshing and tightening feeling. The face feels smooth and clean afterward. The best way to use the scrub is to first wet the face and then add the scrub afterward. I am very satisfied with the scrub, and it lasts a long time. It is enough to use the scrub twice a week and avoid the area around the eyes. #lykoreview

Mild and velvety cleansing gel. This (too) tightens my dry combination skin after washing in winter. Maybe I'll save this for spring after the worst frosts :)
