My skin loves this
My skin is very dry, and therefore products with a lot of moisture help my skin. I also love that it is fragrance-free, which is great for people with more sensitive skin. My face feels instantly hydrated after use and also leaves a very nice glow. Great face cream ✨
I have been using the Ultra Facial Cream from Kiehl's for a couple of weeks now. The cream makes the skin soft and feels nice on the skin, but for me, it’s not enough during the winter months. When it’s cold outside, I find that my skin gets a bit dry after a few hours, even though the cream helps a bit, I always need to supplement with an extra moisturizer. What I like is that it is very light in consistency. It absorbs quickly into the skin and feels neither greasy nor heavy. Therefore, it works very well under makeup and makes the base sit nicely and last throughout the day. The cream works well for most of the year and especially well as a day cream under makeup and when it starts to get warmer outside. Lovely and Moisturizing Cream
I find Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cream to be light and it absorbs into the skin immediately, I also don't find that the cream feels sticky on the skin like many other face creams do. The best thing about this moisturizer is that it is hydrating and doesn't make my sensitive skin red or irritated. I love the combination with Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cleanser and Kiehl's Creamy Eye Treatment with avocado. Dry skin
I have tested this product along with others in the series for a shorter time. I have dry skin and find that this almost dries matte. Which I think could be good for other skin types. I wish for more glow. However, it's super nice if you wear glasses, so they don't slide down your face. Uncomplicated and frill-free everyday cream
Over the course of two weeks, I have had the exciting task of testing and evaluating #lykotestpilot iconic ultra facial cream as #kiehls. 💫 A bit about me and my skin: 🖤 Oily, sensitive skin type. 🖤 Easily becomes dry and often develops barrier damage. 🖤 Very selective with facial creams due to stubborn skin that strongly dislikes perfumes and other fragrance ingredients. My first observations: 🫙 Perfect travel size for the packaging! It even got to hang out in my jacket pocket for a couple of days as an emergency moisture boost when needed. 👀 At first glance into the jar, I got the impression that it looked like a gel cream. 'Uh-oh' I thought, as I need a lot of moisture and fat now in the winter. Pros: 💐 Fragrance-free! Also, in my opinion, lacks any scent. Double points! ☁️ My eyes deceived me - it was not at all a gel cream as I thought it was. The consistency is neither light and airy nor heavy and greasy, it lands somewhere in the perfect middle ground. 💧 The cream feels really moisturizing right upon application. It sinks quickly into the skin, and I feel almost a little soft on my cheeks after application. 💄 Really good base under makeup - neither too light nor too heavy. I have long searched for a day cream that is on one hand sufficiently moisturizing to keep the “normally dry” areas in check throughout the day, that is not so greasy that the makeup slips and never sinks in, but also not so light that my oily skin overcompensates for the dryness with more oil. Well - here I have found that day cream, yay! Cons: ➖ When during the testing period really dry, flaky, barrier-damaged areas appeared on and around my nose, this product did not quite suffice. The dry areas “drank up” the cream very quickly upon application, but did not feel like the moisture was really enough. The areas still felt quite dry and therefore I had to supplement a bit with another product. Since other “normal” dry areas (like between the eyebrows) did well with this cream, I had almost expected (and hoped) that it would also handle real winter skin, but there it did not quite live up to my expectations. In summary: A really nice cream without a lot of frills that fits like a glove under makeup. Fragrance-free and scent-free - golden star! The only thing I would have wished more from the product is that it could have handled the dry areas and properly moisturized there as well, think a bit all-around cream. Despite that, this will be a product that gets a permanent place in my bathroom cabinet. Moisturizing glow, with a high price tag
I have had the pleasure of testing some products from #kiehls like #lykotestpilot over the past few weeks! I haven't tried anything from Khiels before, but I have good associations with them as a brand. You can tell they have many years of experience in advanced skincare. And the fact that they were the first in the USA to list the ingredients on their packaging before the law even required it speaks volumes about them as a company. Here comes my honest #lykoreview 🫧 👍 + I have quite sensitive, rosacea-prone skin and have not reacted at all to this! + The consistency is just how I wish, almost a bit gel-like, which glides easily on the skin. Reminds me of Clinique's 48h cream. + It keeps my skin moisturized all day and looks nice under makeup. + It gives a super nice glow! 👎 - The packaging. It has been a long time since I bought a product in jar form, and as a mom of small children, I don't have the time to mess around with a spatula, so it felt strange to stick my fingers in to get the product. Felt wrong. - I have used the small packaging of 28ml, but if you want this in full size, you have to shell out quite a bit of money in my opinion. There are definitely cheaper equivalent alternatives out there. 👉 Summary: Do I love the product? Yes. Do I love the packaging? No. Can I afford to buy a new jar every time it runs out? No, not with life as it is right now. Will our paths cross again someday? Absolutely possible! Moisturizing and light on the skin!!
Ultra cream: I had the opportunity to test this cream from #lykotestpilot It is light on the skin, absorbs quickly without drying or being sticky. It is thin and doesn’t feel like you’ve put something heavy on your face. I have loved using it. But one thing is that it didn’t sit well with my makeup. It could be that my makeup is oil-based or something else that makes the cream not mix well with the makeup. It has happened that with my sunscreen it starts to crumble even before I’ve put makeup on. But if I’m going to use it without makeup, then it’s perfect. It is soft and smooth and moisturizes the skin without feeling heavy. I really like that because I don’t like when I put on products and they feel heavy on my face. Because then I want to take them off right away. But this is really a good product that I got to test from #Khiels What I didn’t like as much is the price. Incredibly good and moisturizing!💦
I had the honor of via #lykotestpilot testing this skin cream from #kiehls for a period. 😍 I must start with the feeling of the cream, which is WOW, it is soft and just feels like a bomb of moisture, and after applying it, you can immediately feel how it seeps into the skin.💦 It is nice under makeup as it sinks in quickly and keeps moisture throughout the day! I now have dry patches in winter where it is worst around the nose, and during the day it can flake up, but when I have used this cream, that hasn't happened (unless I have blown my nose incredibly often), and the makeup has looked nice all day. My skin is combination skin with dry patches and also slightly oily in the T-zone, but nothing excessive. 🙌🏽 It calms the redness that is also in the sensitive nose area by moisturizing well. I have actually never tried anything that has worked this well for my skin, and I have still tried a lot over the years. My nivea cream gives the same result, but it's good
First impression: The consistency is very pleasant on the face, and it has a mild scent & is not overly perfumed. 👍🏻 I have dry and sensitive skin, and this face cream from Kiehl's has worked fine for me after my skin got used to it. It applies thinly, sinks in quickly, and moisturizes well without feeling heavy or sticky. The packaging also feels really luxurious, which definitely elevates the overall feel. But to be completely honest: my cream from Nivea does basically the same job for my skin. So this is a very good skin cream, but for me, it’s more about preference, what works best & the price tag matters for me 🤗 The conclusion is that it’s a good skin cream, but for the price, there are at least equally good skin creams for a cheaper price.
