Awesome cream!
Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream with SPF is a really great day cream for those who want to combine hydration and sun protection in one single step. The formula provides good hydration without feeling heavy, and the skin stays soft and hydrated throughout the day. It also works very well under makeup, making it perfect as a base in a morning routine. However, what brings the rating down from a perfect score is the scent. It has a distinct sunscreen smell that can sometimes feel a bit chemical. It doesn’t affect the effectiveness, but it makes the experience feel less luxurious. Otherwise, it’s an awesome cream, hydrating, practical, and reliable. Burns on the skin!!
I got this cream at home and was so excited to try it since I’ve only heard good things about it.. but it burns on the skin as soon as I apply it. Not the best friend for acne-prone skin
I bought this product inspired by my friends' hype. I originally fell in love with Kiehl's sunscreen-free product, and I thought there were two flies with one swat here 🪰🫲🏻 Amazing that there is a day cream with SPF protection! My skin is a bit surface dry, and when it is dry, it is also acne-prone. I think the cream is really nice as a day cream, and it absorbs well. However, it should be noted in this review that I often use very thick creams 😅 I soon noticed, though, that every time I woke up the next day, my skin started breaking out with pimples that had previously been cleared up with acne treatment. I tested this several times, and now I am quite sure that there is something in the SPF protection that makes my skin bloom 🤔 However, I am not surprised by this, as few facial sunscreens work for me. I like it!
I have been using the original Kiehls moisturizer for many years. Additionally, I use SPF every single day of the year, so I thought this was the perfect 2-in-1 cream. It is thicker and a bit harder to spread than the original without SPF, but it moisturizes just as well. Doesn't absorb super quickly. Extremely heavy
This brand is very hit or miss. When it's good it's very good but unfortunately this wasn't one of those times. It is heavier than the majority of night creams and I could feel it all day. It was extremely greasy and makeup just sat on top and smeared. It is unusable as a day cream but might work for night even though it contains sunblock.
