    Really good!

    I have gotten wavy hair due to menopause...thanks for that, body ❤️ Now I'm feeling my way through the products for curly hair, it's become a few 🙈 I've discovered that this gel is a product I would gladly return to, sometimes in combination with other products. I want a gel that gives a decent amount of hold in the curls since they are a bit weak, and this gel does that. It doesn't give too much cast in my opinion, and I don't think the product feels particularly much in the hair when it's dry...but that's just me 😊 I always apply a curl cream when the hair is completely wet, currently I'm using a product from a brand that Lyko doesn't have in its assortment. Then I let my hair dry a bit before I apply the gel. I almost always let my hair air dry, and the result is okay. Edit: I'm wondering how Lyko calculates the average ratings. When I read through the reviews, I see that there is one person who has given two stars. The rest of us have given four to five stars, yet this gives an average rating of 2.2 🧐 This has taught me not to dismiss a product just by looking at the average rating!

    Dry and rough

    Unfortunately, this product doesn't work in my hair. My hair became extremely dry and rough even though I used a small amount and had oil afterwards. I like soft curls, so I will go back to my favorite Kérastase Curl Manifesto 😍

    Not for soft hair

    The gel is really thick! To work on my fine hair strands, I have to mix it with water in my hand. The curls look super nice in the cast, but it’s really hard to get everything out just by scrunching the hair, I eventually had to brush my hair to get rid of the last stiffness. The next day it really feels like you have products in your hair, it’s rough and stiff. For me, who likes to have soft curls and needs to have 'good frizz' for the hair to look thicker, this was not a favorite. Maybe a bit too much protein for me.

      Hi Liselotte, Thank you for sharing your experiences. One tip that can help is to use oil afterwards to achieve more softness in the hair. A wide-toothed comb instead of a brush can also help with separation but still make the stiffness disappear. Wishing you a nice day! 💗
