    Testpilot Smartson

    I am very satisfied with L’Oréal Paris Magic Retouch Dark Brown. It’s perfect when you don’t feel like coloring your whole hair but want to quickly hide roots or gray strands. Just shake the bottle and spray – it only takes a few seconds. The Dark Brown color matches my own hair color perfectly and looks very natural. It stays on well until you wash your hair and is easy to use. I really recommend this product to anyone who wants a quick and convenient solution between hair colorings. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I am participating as a test pilot via Smartson and have received a free test product.

    Brown

    I thought the product more than exceeded expectations. Very nice, tried three shades, but Brown suited me best. Covered my gray hair well, not full coverage but that’s not what I was after. Wanted a product that covered the roots and it turned out very nice, with natural variations. Lasted until I washed it out. As easy to use as hairspray.     A must between hair colorings

    I have tried several shades of L'Oréal Paris Magic Retouch Direct Color, and Cold Brown was the one that suited me best. The product is very easy to use and gives a natural result that blends nicely with my own hair color. It covers the roots and gray hairs well and is truly a lifesaver between hair colorings when you want to look fresh quickly. The only small downside is that the hair feels somewhat stiff after application, almost as if you've used a styling product. For me, however, the benefits clearly outweigh this, and I will definitely continue to use it between my regular colorings.

    Works, but leaves an unpleasant feeling in the hair

    I usually use L’Oréal Casting every few months to cover gray hair and restore shine. I was in great need of a color refresh when my box of L’Oréal Magic Retouch arrived from Smartson in exchange for my honest review. It felt like the perfect time to see how well it works. First of all, it definitely works, but I don’t trust wearing it outdoors, especially in summer heat when I tend to sweat on my scalp. I tried both Brown and Cool Brown. I first tested the darker of the two on myself, and the lighter on my partner who has experienced a rapidly receding hairline and hair loss due to stress. I had makeup on when the box arrived, which might have been a mistake, as it wasn’t easy to wash off the color that got outside on my face. Getting close enough to the edges without it looking strange was very difficult. I would recommend applying a barrier cream like Vaseline along the entire face edge where you plan to spray near the hairline, as cleaning afterward looks like unnatural lines. The spray covers well and fills in areas with sparse baby hairs and thinner patches, but I didn’t like how it felt in the hair. Also, every time during the day I ran my hand through my hair, my nails and fingers got stained by the hair powder. I guess summer heat and sweaty scalp could make it run down the face, and I would be mortified if that happened in public. I had to shower it out before going to bed because I knew it would stain my pillowcases. Then I tried it on my partner before he showered, because I knew he wouldn’t like the feeling it leaves in the hair. Due to the fine baby hairs in his receding hairline and beginning baldness, it stuck well in those areas but stained the scalp. When we tried to tidy up the hairline, it looked like an obviously failed touch-up with a filling spray. He hated it. I really wanted to love this for my own graying and thinning hair, but above all, I wanted to love it for his sake, because he feels insecure about the rapid changes that have happened with his hair. Unfortunately, it wasn’t good for either of us. We both have fine hair, so the feeling was much more noticeable. He also complained about stained fingers and nails every time he touched his hair. So sadly, this was a no for both of us. I give it 2 stars because it actually works, but your hair type and technique might give a better result. * The review was conducted on behalf of Smartson – the test pilot received the product free of charge. #Smartson #LorealParis

    Woman 50+ who takes care of her appearance

    I am deeply grateful that these root touch-up color sprays from L’Oréal Paris come in different colors, for those of us who also want to feel good about ourselves when the roots start to show so that we don’t get annoyed by it. For me, who has colored hair but still wants to look okay when the roots come through. Just spray after washing your hair. For me, Dark Brown fits best since I have dark hair. I have also been out swimming and dipped my whole body. So the color stays on until the next time I wash my hair. Just spray again, easy.     Good product

    I got to try the product through Smarton. I think the spray is easy to use and convenient. The color leaks a little from the bottle, but I can live with that. I will buy it in another color. Unfortunately, I got the wrong color, but I am still happy with the product.

    Fulfills its function

    I have now tested the product a few times and it does its job covering the roots as well as the gray hairs I have. The color suits my hair well and it looks natural. However, I feel that my hair gets a bit greasy and my scalp itches. I prefer to color my hair more with hair dye or toner.     Super satisfied

    I was quite skeptical about whether this product would work for me, but I was pleasantly surprised. It’s easy to use, just shake and spray where needed. When you feel like you don’t have the time or energy to dye your hair, this product is great. I also think it helped my thin hair feel a bit thicker. It’s not sticky and smells good. I can warmly recommend this product.

    The best color

    Great product! The shade Brown blends perfectly with my hair and covers gray roots immediately. It’s easy to apply, dries quickly, and gives a natural result without smudging.
