    Awesome product

I have now tested this foundation and am pleasantly surprised. I love the color and its covering matte result. I applied a thin layer, and it covered well; if you want more coverage, you can apply more. It can get a bit oily on the face, but with this product, I have stayed shine-free all day. It also doesn't settle into creases or wrinkles. Highly recommend. Smartson - the test pilot got to try the product for free.

    What shade?

I've heard so much good about this, so I wanted to give it a chance. I have a cool undertone, so I chose the lightest cool, 115, but it looks almost orange on me and is way too warm. Which one should I choose if Lumene CC cream in shade 0 works for me?

Hey Angelica! Oh sometimes it’s hard when you have such a light skin tone - I have that problem many times too! When I look at these (pictures) I don’t think any are that light, and if 115 cool was so orange/warm it’s probably not neutral like e.g. 96 either to hope for, even though it should be lighter than the one you chose. I want to mention this one from NARS even though we apparently don’t have the shade I would have chosen for you, but this one is super nice - Soft Matte Complete Foundation Oslo 👌 and if you don’t want it to be so matte but also not too glowy, this is one of my favorites lyko.com/sv/nars/nars-sheer-glow-foundation-oslo Wishing you a nice Friday and weekend 🌸

    Scary

I personally haven't tried the product, but I did some research and went through the entire ingredient list. The list goes from what is most to least. The 4th ingredient is alcohol denat. So it is very concentrated in the product. I then looked up which types of alcohol are safe and not safe for the skin. It clearly stated that Alcohol denat is an ingredient that is supposed to help the product dry faster, but it can also dry out the skin and irritate it depending on how strong the concentration is in the product itself. The coverage looks fantastic and there are many shades, and I will always like a matte foundation for my combination skin, but I won't risk damaging my barrier just for a good finish.

Hi YasasmiRK✨ This one can work for oily, acne-prone skin. It has a matte finish, is non-comedogenic (won’t clog pores), and offers good oil control. Just make sure to prep dry areas well, as it can cling to dry patches. Hope this helps! Wishing you a nice weekend🌞

    Bad for combination skin

I've been trying this for a while, but I don't get the hype. Tried with good skin prep, both brush and sponge. Looks nice initially when applied (definitely best with a sponge), but it settles into pores and emphasizes all dry areas. By the end of the day, everything is crumbled up.

Hey Anna Maria 💌 Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review of this! It’s very common for some foundations to settle into pores or dry areas, especially if the skin isn’t quite optimal for the product. Here are some tips that can help you achieve a smoother and more long-lasting result: 💧Moisturize well before application: Make sure your skin is well-hydrated with a good moisturizer before applying foundation. This can reduce the product sticking to dry areas. 🫧Primer: Feel free to use a primer that suits your skin type, such as a pore-filling primer or one that adds extra moisture, depending on what your skin needs. 🖐🏼Application: As you’ve found, a sponge often works best for building up the product evenly and avoiding it feeling "heavy" on the skin. 💄Setting: Finish with a light, translucent powder on areas where foundation often collects or becomes shiny, and use a setting spray to seal the entire look. 🪨Exfoliation: Make sure to exfoliate your skin regularly to remove dry skin cells that foundation can cling to. I hope these tips help you enjoy your foundation more! If you’d like, we can also help you find a product that better suits your skin type. Have a great day ahead!💕

Hi! Thanks for leaving a review. So sad to hear that you got a bad allergic reaction. It sounds like you may have developed a sensitivity to one of the ingredients in the product. I really hope you find a perfect foundation for your skin! Have a nice week 🩷

With the Right Base, This is Fantastic!

I have dry and sensitive skin, so I didn't think this foundation would be good for me. But as long as I make sure to moisturize properly and use plenty of SPF, it sits super nicely on me all day. :) The coverage is really good. I love the finish, really matte and luminous at the same time. The only thing I don't like is that it oxidizes a little, becoming slightly too dark and more orange. I would really appreciate it if you could stock the even lighter shade #90, so I can order it next time!

    Help

What should I use with this product if I want hold and moisture? It peels off my skin with my routine stuff and the makeup base doesn't look good.

Hey Sussu! 🌸 It's such a bummer that foundation rolls off your skincare routine. Here are my best tips to prevent it: 🩷 Let your skincare absorb properly before applying foundation. 🩷 Let each skincare product absorb properly before applying a new product. 🩷 You can try this Maybelline primer! It's extra long-lasting and hydrating. The foundation should stick to the primer, which should help prevent rolling. lyko.com/en/maybelline-new-york/maybelline-new-york-grippy-serum-primer-30-ml 🩷 Focus on "tapping" the product into your skin instead of pulling or rolling! Hope these tips help! 🌞
