Awesome product
I have now tested this foundation and am pleasantly surprised. I love the color and its covering matte result. I applied a thin layer, and it covered well; if you want more coverage, you can apply more. It can get a bit oily on the face, but with this product, I have stayed shine-free all day. It also doesn't settle into creases or wrinkles. Highly recommend. The lightest cool shade for dark
This was shade 115, which according to Maybelline's website is supposed to be the lightest cool shade. As you can see, it is way too dark for me and is also very orange/yellow. ✨🤍 A foundation that truly impresses with its longevity!
I’ve really fallen for the Maybelline Superstay Lumi Matte Foundation in 115! This is the kind of foundation I like to use when I want an even, smooth, and long-lasting base that still feels light on the skin. 🥹✨ The first thing I like is the finish itself. Despite the name Lumi Matte, I don’t think it looks flat and lifeless like some matte foundations can. It gives a matte finish with a slight natural glow, which keeps the skin looking alive. 🤍 The coverage is also really good. I find that a thin layer goes a long way, but you can definitely build up more coverage where I need it. It’s perfect when I want to cover redness or unevenness without applying a thick layer all over the face. Lyko describes it as buildable and with a light feel on the skin. And the longevity is really one of the main reasons I like it. Maybelline states up to 30 hours of wear and that it’s water-, sweat-, and transfer-resistant. I especially think it’s great when I know my makeup needs to last. A whole day out, an evening with friends, or when I just want to stop worrying about whether my base has disappeared after a few hours. 😂✨ I also like that it feels so light despite the coverage. Once I’ve blended it in, it doesn’t feel like a thick layer of foundation, which is a big plus for me. But the shade 115 is a bit tricky. 😭 There are several Lyko reviews where users say it’s significantly darker and more yellow/orangey than expected, even though it’s marketed as a light cool shade. So I’d definitely try to test the color before buying if you have very fair skin. I also think moisture under the foundation is important. If the skin tends to get dry, it can otherwise highlight dryness, while a well-moisturized base seems to give a much nicer result. This is also something Lyko users mention in their reviews. 35 ml also feels like a good size, and the pump bottle makes it easy to dose. Hi! I used Maybelline foundation superstay active wear 07 but have understood that it is no longer sold. Is this the foundation that corresponds to it, and if so, which one corresponds to shade 07?
