Kind of gummy and disappointing
I've tried this primer several times now and been disappointed every time. It's supposed to be silky and blurring, or at least that is what the name suggests. It's neither silky nor blurring. It feels gummy and tacky (but not like a gripping primer), it can pill and roll off the face, other products sit weird on top of it and it's not really blurring at all. It also contains niacinamide, which I know not everyone loves. It might even irritate your skin. If you want a really good blurring drugstore primer, then Catrice Extreme Blur mattifying primer is truly a 10/10 product! lyko.com/fi/catrice/catrice-extreme-blur-mattifying-primer-25-g570 views - The post was made 2 weeks
Moisturizing for dry mature skin?
Hi, I wonder if this is moisturizing for dry and mature skin and what to consider regarding what moisturizer you have before using this, since it is silicone-based, right?183 views- The user's roll: Customer service at Lyko. The comment was made 2 weeksHi! đ¤ The primer is made to provide a smooth, soft base for makeup, not to moisturize, so it does not replace your day cream. It contains silicone (including dimethicone) but also glycerin, niacinamide, and some oils, so it feels soft and not drying. đ Use your usual moisturizing cream first and let it absorb for a little while, about a minute, before applying the primer. A water-based cream works best underneath. Very oily or heavy creams right before can cause the primer and foundation to slide around or "break down" together. Take a small amount and press it in, focusing especially where you want a smoother result. â¨1 likes
