  I've been wanting to buy this for a long time and jumped on it when the price was good 💕 you can really feel the difference between this and others that are more budget-friendly and that I've had before. The biggest difference I would say is that this has a wider curve, which actually affects more than you think. I'm really satisfied and think it was a really good investment 🥰 #lykoreview

  I've had this as a favorite for several years, but the last time I bought it, it was nothing like before. This usually curls my lashes really nicely and holds them up for a long time, but it barely curled at all. I don't know if something has been changed with it or if I just happened to get a “bad” one. The actual curlers you bend with go together no matter how loosely you hold them, which means it hardly gives any curl at all, very disappointing since this has been a big favorite of mine for a long time.

  Which model?

  I see that the pictures are both with black and silver curlers, and my question is which one do you get? I checked that there are 2 Shiseido models, one is silver (213) and one is kind of black? What is the difference and can you get the silver?

  Changed the model?

  I have previously used this eyelash curler for many years and have been so satisfied with it. About a year ago, I bought a new one and noticed that it couldn't do 'the job' at all like the previous one. I get the feeling that they changed the actual hinge, which felt significantly thicker and didn't get any curl at all, even though I tried several times. I'm now using Tweezerman instead, which is very good and also costs half of Shiseido's version.

  I was one of those who really didn't believe that there could be any particularly big difference between a cheap and an expensive eyelash curler. But OJ how wrong I was. This one is definitely the best on the market 👏🏼🤩

  Problem with eyelash curler

  I have had my eyelash curler for over a year and have changed the pads on it and have not had any problems with it, but now it has started pulling out my lashes and this has never happened before. I tried changing the pad again but it didn't help. Has it gotten too old or is there something wrong with it, should I buy a new one?

    Hey My 🥰 Hmm, it sounds like the eyelash curler might not be cooperating anymore 🤍 Are you using Shiseido's own eyelash pads? Sometimes other pads can have a slightly different shape or be too hard/soft, which can cause the lashes to get stuck or be pinched a bit too much 🙈 Also, the curler itself can get a bit tired over time, especially if it has been used frequently. The hinges or pressing function can start to lose tension, and then it might start to pinch a bit unevenly. Maybe worth checking if something looks off when you squeeze it together? Old makeup residue can easily sneak in there too. Especially around the metal and the pad. Even if you think you're cleaning it properly, there can still be a bit that causes the lashes to get stuck 🧼 All the best!
