Bought this serum because I am (still) looking for a dupe for Estee Lauder's Advanced Night Repair. Not a dupe, but this is a really good serum! I've been using it since November and I haven't noticed anything special other than its moisturizing effect. Since it's an expensive serum and there are a lot of affordable alternatives out there that do the same thing, I was very disappointed. But when my skin barrier became compromised, this serum helped so much to repair my skin and strengthen the barrier! For damage or clinical treatments on the skin, I use this serum because it is very effective for repair, hydration, and strengthening my skin barrier. If it weren't so expensive, I would use it every day. Because I use acids and exfoliate regularly, I also expose my skin to a damaged barrier, so this serum is definitely a reliable backup.

I don't know if I'm just too sensitive for this, I use it every/other week. I apply it on cleansed skin and massage until it feels fresh on my face and until it crumbles together like that. Then I wash it off thoroughly. The next step in the routine, no matter what, it burns incredibly on the skin, moisture serum like moisture cream burns on the skin. Why does it do that? Is there any product I should avoid after using the enzyme peeling? A big plus is that the skin feels fresh afterwards anyway. 🫢
