Serum Lipstick 002
I really like the lipstick! I have very dry lips in the winter, and they get flaky even when I moisturize with lip balm several times a day. This lipstick feels moisturizing on the lips without being sticky, and hours after the first application, the lips are still soft. The lipstick is very creamy and easy to apply. The color lasts a long time even when eating or drinking but may need to be touched up if you want more than just a slight tint after a few hours. I rarely use lipstick and prefer a more natural look on my lips, so I mostly use this in a thin layer for tint and moisture with gloss on top, incredible! My lips but better
This lipstick feels more like skincare than makeup. Very soft and moisturizing thanks to ingredients like hyaluronic acid, and the shade “Maybe It’s…” is a perfect “my lips but better” tone. Soft budget find for everyday use! ✨ I’ve been trying Maybelline Serum Lipstick in the shade 002 Maybe It’s Maybelline for a while now. It feels more like a pigmented lip balm, which I appreciate. What I like: • Super moisturizing: Thanks to the hyaluronic acid, the lips feel soft all day, almost like after a serum. • Nice finish: It has a natural shine that makes the lips look fuller without feeling sticky. • Easy application: The formula glides on very smoothly and the small precision tip makes it easy to get a neat look. What to keep in mind is that it’s not "transfer-proof," so you’ll need to touch it up after coffee or lunch. But since the tube feels quite nice and is easy to carry in your bag, it’s not a big deal. Nourishing lipstick with lots of pigment!
These have definitely become my new favorites! The fact that they first of all contain nourishing ingredients is just fantastic?? But they also have insanely much pigment!! Maybelline Serum Lipstick x Smartson
002 Maybe It’s… is a neutral-warm rusty brownish red on my neutral skin tone (a bit more red than pencil 05 On It). Pink-brown in some lights. I usually like slightly cooler lips – but this one is nice anyway and will probably suit many ♥️🤎 Soft, easy-to-apply formula with a matte finish, but not as moisturizing as I expected. Creamy and opaque at first, but dries down within about an hour and highlights some dry flakes. Scent: Vanilla caramel fudge (a bit annoying scent in my opinion) but disappears quickly. Durability: Okay. After about an hour (walk + water) mostly tint remains. Needs to be reapplied several times during the day to maintain creaminess. Nice packaging, with a small minus for the square cap that only fits in 1 of 4 angles (have to search).
