If you are looking for DRAMA
This might be a great mascara if you want thick, dramatic lashes. If you want a really clean, separated and lifted every day look, then this one might not be for you. I find that the wand pulls out so much product out of tube that it’s impossible not to make a mess. This mascara does coat the lashes and make them look really "done" with just a few swipes, but I personally prefer a more clean look and more control. If you keep adding more coats - or trying to use the wand to brush the clumped up lashes apart - you end up with so much mascara on your lashes that they get droopy and fall down because they are so heavy. This mascara does leave the lashes feeling really soft, so they never get stiff, dry or crumbly. It lasts all day and it washes off easily with micellar water. This might be a great "party" mascara for me, but I will not be reaching for it most days. Still I had to give it a try! 🎆 Lashes with a real wow feeling 🎆
Maybelline Lash Sensational Firework Mascara in Very Black is a mascara that really caught my interest right away. I love when the lashes get much more definition and are clearly visible, but I still want them to feel separated and nice. This one really gives that slightly more dramatic feeling that I like when I want the eyes to be the focus. 🖤✨ What I like the most is the brush. It’s easy to reach with, and I find it simple to work through the lashes from root to tip. I especially like being able to build up several layers depending on the look I want. For everyday, I can keep it a bit more natural, while in the evening I like to add an extra layer for more intensity. 🥰 The Very Black shade also fits perfectly when I want a more defined eye makeup. I think really black lashes do a lot for the whole look, especially together with eyeliner or a smokier eyeshadow. At the same time, it’s absolutely usable even when the rest of the makeup is quite simple. One thing I really appreciate is the feeling of longer and more prominent lashes. I think the mascara helps give the lashes a nice lift and a more “open” feeling around the eyes. It’s such a small detail that can actually change the whole face when you’re done with your makeup. 👀💕 I also like that it feels easy to work with. I want to be able to apply mascara without having to stand forever trying to fix every little lash. Here, I think it’s smooth to build up the result until I’m satisfied. For me, this is a really good mascara when I want more wow in my eye makeup without having to do much else. Firework Mascara
I have a mini version that came in a box/Lovables. I have long lashes naturally, and they get curled and look long with this mascara. It dries quickly, so it can get clumpy if you apply multiple layers. It clumps easily. If you apply a few layers relatively quickly, it can look really nice. 🩷🖤 But honestly, I think a mascara should be easier to apply than this one is. Unfortunately, I have found it difficult and tricky to remove when I wash off my makeup, which definitely loses points for me. I don’t wear mascara every day, but of course, I always remove all my makeup at night – and I want the mascaras I use to be easy to wash off. Easily applied, voluminous mascara that stays in place
I basically only use mascara when I do my makeup, so I'm very particular about them. Holds good quality. This was a really good mascara! It had a good, just right sparse, just right stiff brush that picked up just the right amount. It applied easily without clumps and dried quickly. It stayed in place all day and remained pitch black and even without flaking or smudging. Creates long and beautifully separated lashes. I find that many other mascaras clump the lashes together, but here they "narrow" towards the end, which gives a very nice and lengthening impression. They look the same at the end of the day as they do right after application, and it doesn't flake. Quite easy to wash off. The only reason not to give it a 5 is that there is a tendency for the lashes to get a bit clumpy if you're not focused on what you're doing. And for someone like me who only wears mascara and wants it to take two seconds, that's a small downside. But it is still a fantastic mascara!846 views
