So, we’ve probably all seen a bit about this color, and right here I’ll mostly write about Cranberry, but I also have Mocha (different opinions on these). I appreciate the small tubes, light and simple, and the applicator is easy to use 👌🏻 The color is pigmented and glossy, ❗️BUT applying it felt honestly like putting foundation over the lips 🙈 You know, kind of greasy and messy.. But I got used to it in the end 😅 One thing that was a bit "from time to time", was that after applying, you usually massage your lips against each other or just throughout the day, and often I found that the color became very uneven then.. 🤔 🤷🏼♀️When it comes to transferring🤷🏼♀️ It is really not transferproof, it smudges and makes a mess. 💄As a stain: I found that it is good as a stain, in just this red color (see picture). Not for me
I have now tested two of these glosses. Both give exactly the same stain (pink), so if it's stain you're after, it doesn't matter which one you choose. As a gloss, this one is just okay. Feels fine on the lips, but the color gets very quickly patchy and just doesn't look that nice. If u chose one of the darker colors I think you’d grt them more varied. Just saying cause I got 3 sinilar browns and they all stain a different brown-ish to burgundy but with bariuing darkness and intensity, which also depends on how long theyre kept on and if I pat them off after a while or let it set in naturally

The tea
Okay so let me set the record straight once and for all. For info I’m a mixed girlie with a caramel skin tone, and olive undertones. I LOVE this product, if you’re a lazy girl like me that has a hectic job and doesn’t have time to re-apply product 800 times a day, then this is the product for you. Also great when you have a partner and don’t have money to waste so much product on kissing. I got the colors (from lightest to darkest) Splash n’ spice - Cocoa quench - Espresso soak. What they all have in common is that they apply very brown, but the stains are also brown but with a more reddish hue. Splash n’ splice - Def my least favorite on my skin tone, it’s cute. Applies as a very muted brown but has a slightly darker and much nicer stain that looks quite natural. Cocoa quench - My favorite for every day wear applies as a slightly darker brown with warmer undertones. Way less muted than the splash and splice but still very similar. They stain is this rich almost burgundy color with a lot of brown hues in it. Espresso soak - Omg this is DRAMATIC. It’s such a vibe, absolutely lovely if you want your lips to pop. But personally I feel insecure to wear this to work, but again I’m not used to wearing a dark lip so I might just not be used to it, but I love this so much. It applies as a really chocolaty brown color, the stain it leaves is very burgundy, the stain compliments my skin so well. Often I use this one as a lip liner and fill the rest in with one of the other two for more depth, works like a charm. So.. The thing with these is that the stain will vary in intensity based on how long you wear it. If u want a natural barely there look I’d recommend to keep it on for 5 minutes and pat it off with some toilet paper. If you want a dramatic finish and want to get all the staining action you wear it until it dries down by itself (ish 20-30 minutes) the things is IF your lips are cracked, wearing it for long can make some pigment settle into creases which isn’t always ideal. Besides this be careful with application, you want a nice clean line on the outer edge, cause *drumrolls* WHEN IT FADES IT LEAVES A LIP LINER AROUND THE OUTER EDGES!! I couldn’t believe it. I woke up after wearing it in the evening and was astounded to see I had this natural looking lip liner that made my lips look soo defined. This product is so versatile, not at all what I expected when I first bought it. For me the only down side is that after a while some of the oil separates and you see this dark brown oil in the product that is very hard to mix in. However I just blend more on the lip if I get one of these drops. Besides this I am so happy with the product, the versatility, the price, the gloss, the stain, the mix ability, the blend-ability. 😩 Such a recipe for how to be a bad bih on a budget. Lawd I hope they never discontinue this. Fr like lately I don’t even bother putting the rest of my makeup, when I feel lazy I just do my skincare and put this gloss and I look put together for hours. I adore it
Its hydrating and light on your lips. I havent gotten any irritation of it which is nice. The stain it leaves really depends on how long you have the gloss on, which Is nice to keep in mind, I like to casually re-apply mine on so I get a nice bright stain through out the day/night when I’m out. Disappointed
I don't think it's usable as a lip gloss since it lays on the lips like a thick, sticky film. Using it as a lip stain isn't optimal either since it needs to be on for a long time to give color, and the result doesn't last well. The positive is that the lip stain gives an even and nice result. It doesn't make dry areas visibly darker like some stains do. I bought three colors, and all give exactly the same stain shade, which disappointed me. Maybe I chose too similar colors? Dissatisfied
Bought these mainly to use as a stain in the summer. Bought Berry Thirsty and Hydra Honey. The most uncomfortable gloss I have ever tried, thick, sticky, hard to get even. I love stains but this was a real miss, the stains both leave are pretty much identical and don’t hold well as a stain. That this product is described as giving a natural look is the most misleading thing I’ve read in a while 🤣 Uncomfortable as the lips stick together when you close your mouth. Super good
Super pretty both as a gloss and stain, but I prefer to use it as a stain. I have also tried wonderskin, which lasts a bit longer than this, but it dries out the lips more and is harder to work with since it starts to dry so quickly. This is like a regular gloss and is easier to adjust while applying. Lasts many hours, and when it starts to fade, it's mainly the inner part of the lips that fades first, so it's easy to touch up a bit in the afternoon if needed.
