Thick lip balm that lasts
I have previously used Lypsyl original (that cheap blue one) so I will mostly compare with that. O'Keeffe's is quite thick and moisturizing and protects the lips. It has a cooling effect and feels a bit toothpaste-like minty on the lips right after application, which can be a dealbreaker for this particular kind. For this one, it only tastes and smells slightly minty and is not at all bothersome, it’s the cooling sensation that can be a bit much. I currently apply it 3 times a day as I enjoy the thick protective feeling of freshly applied and have noticed that my lips have become softer compared to when I didn’t use any lip balm (my Lypsyl was out) and I think the softness lasts longer than when I used Lypsyl, both in terms of time, but also through food and drink. Overall, I think this lip balm is very good, but the cooling effect may not be my favorite and when this one is finished, I will try to test the original.301 views
