Oral B's electric toothbrush has nothing to complain about. But the app for the brush I would like to overlook. My previous brush from Oral B I had for 7 whole years!!! It didn't stop working, but the rubber had become a bit rotten, and that becomes a place for bacteria growth. I've been using this version for 3 months and I'm super satisfied. It brushes gently, just as I want, and it's relatively quiet. I listen to podcasts in the bathroom, as many of us do, and I can brush and listen without any problems. My dentist is also satisfied with the work I and Oral B are doing. No cavities and fresh gums without plaque. I see on various online forums that some users are struggling with mold in the brush head. I haven't experienced anything like that. I rinse the brush head and handle with warm water, dry off the moisture, and put it back in place. I have good ventilation in the bathroom. I actually wanted to take away a star for the app. On the previous brush it was bad, and on this one it is too. The countdown for brushing stops and starts, the digital rewards seem poorly thought out and don't motivate me. And the notifications get stuck. I got 20 notifications to change the brush head over two days. I have uninstalled the app. Because for those who want digital motivation, I would have looked for another app, like a regular habit tracker. But the brush is good and nice to look at. It also comes with a case. Some might miss the old solution with brush head storage with a lid over it. But here it is allowed to find your own solution. This is excellent quality anyway. My old brush has gotten new tasks, like cleaning areas in the house and home that are hard to reach.
