    Overhyped and low factor

    I thought I had to try this well-liked lip balm since it got so much praise. Unfortunately, it’s not good. My sample was very dry, and it spreads difficultly over the lips. The lips are coated with a layer of wax, so it’s not very pleasant or light on the lips. I googled the sun protection factor, which turned out to be 5 - a joke of protection they could have just skipped. Due to the consistency and feeling, this only gets 1 star, but I will use it up out of spite lol. Positive that there’s no perfume or irritating ingredients in this. I think it’s best suited for outdoor use in winter. #lykoreview

    Amazing

    I love this lip balm. It is very softening and nourishing. However, I don't have any problems with dryness or redness etc., except that I can sometimes have a bit of dry lips, so I can't really judge exactly how nourishing it is. The downside is that the texture of the balm is incredibly thick and waxy, which makes the product, when applied in a thicker layer, sit on the inside of the lips like a whitish film. It also doesn't always react well with, for example, a lip liner underneath; the balm is too thick and lifts it. This has made me only use the balm when I am NOT going to meet anyone whatsoever. Therefore, I prefer to sleep with the balm. I apply a thick layer on my lips and let it work while I sleep. When I wake up, my lips are super smooth.

    Used for years

    I love this – but the price at Lyko is totally insane! I've been using this since I was a kid, so if there's something better out there, I honestly don't know – I always come back. Maybe I'm a little addicted? Anyway, it works, and I love it! But the price at Lyko? 75 kroner?! That's completely crazy for something that for many years cost 29,- and now is around 49,- at Cubus and Vita (the last time I shopped it was 39,- so the price is slowly rising....) Disappointing that it's priced so high here, especially since I've bought them earlier for 29,- (back to 2023)

    Flavor and scent-free

    Thick consistency that you can build up to a light or a bit more substantial layer on the lips. Keeps the lips soft all day when applied in the morning. Reasonable price

    Disappointing

    Had high expectations, but unfortunately this one did not deliver. It's sticky to apply and sits like a layer on the lips. I don't feel like it absorbs, but rather shifts when I talk or move my mouth. It's fine that it's odorless and tasteless, and my lips didn't get more sore, but I won't buy this again.

    Not sure??

    I was excited to try this after such good feedback!!🤩 I think it's good to apply, and it's nice that it has no scent or taste. The only downside is that I feel it sits a bit like a layer on the lips?? That it doesn't necessarily absorb well, but stays a bit on the surface. It gives moisture in a way, but at the same time not? I get a bit of a strange feeling from it😂 However, I haven't tried it for more than a day, so I can't say anything about how it performs in terms of moisture over time. #LYKOREVIEW

      How sad! I've had it (and ONLY it) for like a hundred years, until last fall when it suddenly stopped working 😢 Skin and body change 🤷‍♀️ And of course, everyone has different preferences. Hope you find some use for it anyway❤️
