Lovely
The serum is truly a nice complement to the rest of the series. It’s easy to spray into the hair and feels very light in texture, which is a big plus since I don’t like when hair feels heavy or greasy. Has a nice mist This works to spray on dry hair daily, which I like, without weighing it down. I have tested the product for about two weeks, so it’s a bit early to say if it actually affects hair growth or strengthens hair long-term, but my hair already feels lighter, softer, more voluminous, and healthier. Irritates airways and lungs
In collaboration with Smartson, I have for 2 weeks and at no cost been able to try the Redken Acidic Grow Full System series with shampoo, conditioner, serum, and spray. After the first wash, my hair felt very rough and hard. It got somewhat better after the second wash but was still rougher than usual. I feel that my hair became flatter and less voluminous than before I started the test. An unpleasant thing I have never experienced before was that when rinsing out the hair, vapors were created in the shower that I inhaled, and it irritated my airways and lungs. It felt corrosive, and I had coughing fits with every shampoo. It doesn't seem very healthy. The products together cost about 1800 SEK. Liked the feeling
I have tried Redken Acidic Grow Full System Serum I liked the feeling I got in my hair but felt there was so much product in the hair, both the series and treatment, that it became stiff at the scalp. But I think if you style your hair afterwards, that feeling probably disappears. Maybe a hairdryer can help. I never tried that as I usually don’t have the time. My hair is also very dry so I felt I had to supplement with oil and more moisture. I didn’t experience a wow sensation with the series but it was okay. Balances the scalp
I have tried the entire Redken Acidic Grow Full series and am genuinely impressed – especially considering I have thin, fine hair and a scalp that can be both dry and quickly become oily. This product surprised me the most. I have previously had a scalp that was both dry but at the same time quickly became oily – a troublesome combination. After using this, I feel that my scalp is much more balanced. Less dryness and my hair stays fresh longer between washes. It moisturizes without making the hair greasy, which is also one of the main points of the product. Can strongly recommend it! Love this series!
I’m so happy I got the chance to try the whole new series because I was really positively surprised! I’ve been using the shampoo, conditioner, serum, and leave-in spray for a little over two weeks now and think the products work very well together. The shampoo has a fresh and light citrus scent that isn’t too strong but still leaves the hair clean and pleasantly scented after washing. You don’t need to use much product, which makes it quite economical. After some time, the hair also feels a bit stronger and less prone to breakage. However, you shouldn’t expect the hair to grow faster immediately, and for me, it’s only been two weeks, but the effect is more about strengthening the hair and giving it a fuller appearance. My hair is quite thin, so I often look for products that add volume without weighing it down, and these products really do that. The shampoo and conditioner are definitely my favorites in the series and products I will buy again!! Less hair loss and almost no dandruff!
I have tested this serum for 2.5 weeks now along with the rest of the products in the series. My hair tended to fall out, be fine and thin, and not least flat. While testing the series, I have noticed that I don’t lose as much hair as before, but it’s hard to say definitively since I haven’t used it for a longer time yet. But I think it smells good and feels healthy and nourishing on the hair and especially the scalp. I generally think it’s really nice that the hair becomes easy to style when I have used one of the leave-in products in the series, but when I use both serum and leave-in spray, as recommended, my hair becomes a bit stiff and slightly greasy. But it could very well be me using too much product because it’s hard to know how much product is needed to properly cover the entire scalp :-) I have previously had a tendency to dandruff, and I have hardly noticed any since I started using the series! So if you struggle with that, I can only recommend giving this serum a try. Volume and calm scalp
This serum is a really good addition to the routine, especially for my hair which consists of thin strands but lacks volume. I was initially a bit skeptical because many serums easily weigh hair down, but this one is very light and absorbs quickly without making the hair greasy, which I have problems with. Additionally, it actually gives a bit of extra volume, which is a big plus for me. My sensitive scalp did not react at all, but felt moisturized and balanced. The hair looks healthier and feels generally better overall. Itchy scalp
My hair: Scandinavian, thin, fine, and brittle in the lengths. Tends to get oily at the scalp but dry in the lengths. I had a hard time continuing to test this product as it made my scalp itch a lot. For that reason, I cannot recommend it. But if you disregard that, it delivers the results promised in the description. The hair gets a lift from the scalp and thus looks airier and fuller when used. The packaging is good and easy to use to distribute the serum on the scalp. The scent, like all products in this series, is not for me as I prefer a more floral scent note, unlike this series which has a slightly woody citrus scent. Acidic Grow Full system serum
Acidic Grow Full System Serum I have used the serum as the last step in my routine, and it really makes a difference. It is light in texture and absorbs quickly without feeling greasy or heavy. The hair immediately becomes shinier and looks healthy. I mainly use it on the ends to reduce frizz and give a more polished result. It also helps keep the hair soft throughout the day. The scent is mild and pleasant. A perfect finish to the hair care routine that gives that little extra. Does what it promises!
Have been using the products for 2 weeks now and am completely satisfied! The hair feels full and like it has a lot of products in it but without feeling heavy, and it also doesn’t get greasy or dirty as quickly as before! The serum is light in texture and easy to apply. Nicer Hair
The review was made on behalf of Smartson - the test pilot tried the product for free. I felt that the bottle is not optimal for the product. It sprays poorly. The hair and scalp feel almost stiff when the spray has dried. It felt a bit strange, but otherwise the hair feels fuller and shinier.4 views
