Girls, hear me out!! If you want to smell good all day and have skin soft as baby cheeks, this oil is an absolute must-have! 🥹 I have my little ritual with it, and this combination works best for me. First, I do a full body scrub, preferably from the same line, but I also really like a regular exfoliating sponge + some cheap shower gel. The most important thing is to wash and prepare the skin thoroughly. Only then do I reach for the shower oil. The washed skin gets a moment to let the product "sit". Then I apply foam from the shower gel right on top of the oil to boost the scent, and then I give myself another moment in the shower. I feel like this makes the skin even more hydrated, and the scent settles beautifully on it. 🤍 And now a very important step: after getting out of the shower, I don’t rub myself crazy with the towel! 😂 Instead, I gently press the excess water off my body. Imagine you’re powdering your face. Exactly the same way you “powder” your body with the towel, gently absorbing the water from the skin. Finally, the dry oil from the same line. And here the magic really begins. ✨ The result? A beautiful scent, wonderfully soft and hydrated skin, and the aroma really stays with me for a long time. Best of all, the next day the skin is still pleasantly soft and smelling nice. If you like the effect of well-cared-for, fragrant skin and want to create a little spa at home, I really recommend trying this ritual. 🌹✨ A dry body oil that truly lives up to its name!
I have really fallen for Rituals The Ritual of Ayurveda Super Dry Body Oil! The first thing I like is that it actually feels like a real dry oil. I love body oils, but I really don’t want to walk around with sticky skin afterward – and this one absorbs incredibly fast. 🥹🤍 I usually spray a little in my hands and then massage it over my legs, arms, and other dry areas. It goes on so smoothly and the skin feels almost immediately softer, smoother, and more hydrated, without that greasy layer that some body oils leave behind. Rituals also describes it as fast-absorbing and non-sticky. What I like the most is probably the scent. 🌹 The Indian rose together with sweet almond gives a warm, floral, and slightly sweet feeling that feels so typically Rituals. I think it smells really luxurious and above all, the scent stays on the skin in a very pleasant way. I find it extra lovely right after the shower. When the skin still feels a bit warm and soft, I massage the oil in and then it really feels like a little spa treatment at home. 😂✨ And the glow! 🤍 The skin gets a natural, fresh radiance without looking oily. That’s exactly the kind of finish I want when I have bare legs and want the skin to look a little extra soft and well cared for. I also like that the formula contains six natural oils, including two fermented oils that are supposed to help with absorption. It’s also made with 99% ingredients of natural origin. Another thing I love is that it can actually be used on hair ends too. I think it’s so handy when a body oil can have an extra use – a little on dry ends and the hair gets both nourishment and a lovely scent. 🌹 100 ml feels like a good size. It’s big enough for regular use but still convenient to have standing in the bathroom. The only small downside is the price – 259 SEK for 100 ml is not exactly budget-friendly. 😭 But at the same time, I think the feel, scent, and nice finish make it feel like a real everyday luxury. This is definitely a body oil I would buy again. Soft skin, nice glow, fantastic scent, and zero stickiness. The first impression was quite surprising because right after spraying, the scent reminded me of a grave candle, and for a moment I wondered if I would really reach for it.
