Worth a try! 🧼
I got the Estrid shaving products from Lyko to test. A familiar brand and effective products - now that it's summer, shaving happens more often, so quality blades matter! 😌🪒 This package comes with 4 replacement blades, so there's plenty of joy and smooth legs for a long time! I also find these to be really affordable, with the price of one blade being just under 4 euros 💫 I personally prefer 5-blade razors, as they generally provide a precise and gentle shave. 😊 The blade has thick caring "pads" around it, which make shaving more pleasant, and you don't necessarily have to use shaving gel. I feel like the pads make hair removal a bit clumsy. It felt like I couldn't shave as close to the hair as with razors from other brands. The blades didn't irritate my skin, but I noticed that my legs remained really soft and moisturized after shaving! I was surprised by this and liked it 🫶🏻 The handy single pack is easy to take on trips, and changing the blade on the razor is simple. I would have liked some sort of blade cover to come with these refill blades, which came with the starter pack. From best to worst
After switching from «blue» to «yellow», the quality of the blades has become extremely poor. Getting easier cuts, ingrown hairs, and sensitivity in the skin. Dissatisfied
So dissatisfied since they switched from the blue blades. Irritates and gives red spots. Pretty okay
I ordered a razor after hearing the hype for so many years and was actually disappointed. I think the blades feel bulky and often fall off, and they sometimes "pinch" the skin. The new is not always the best
I have been using Estrid for a couple of years now and have always been satisfied. After they changed the blades, the quality has not held up. I notice that it almost "pulls" at the skin and hairs when shaving, and that it irritates the skin. Reminds me a bit of cheap disposable razors from Bic. New formula, same result
I have tested these for lyko but must admit that I have been using Estrid blades for a while now, and there is always a refill pack in my cabinet😍 The blades are sharp and effective; the result is velvety smooth skin without red dots or irritation – which is gold for us with sensitive skin. I love how easy it is to click the blades into place, and store them in holders to keep them dry between uses. Refilling the blades is also much more economical and environmentally friendly than buying disposable razors🪒 In short: these refills keep the blades fresh, the skin happy, and the ritual sustainable. Finally back, just as good as before!
These five-blade razors are truly some of the best on the market! I find they glide so easily over the skin and make shaving incredibly simple and effective👌 I am super happy that they have gone back to the old blade – it’s exactly how I remember it, and I have really missed it! I stopped using Estrid when they switched to the blue blades, but now they are back😍⭐️ The result is smooth and even, and it goes quickly – perfect for busy days (perfect for me as a time optimist hehe). Gives a smooth shave
As a #lykoinflutester, I have been trying out different products from #estrid for a while. I hadn't tested anything from them before. These razor blades come in a practical packaging where the blades are separated one by one. The blades have a moisturizing "strip" around them, which makes the blade glide easily against the skin, and you avoid irritation during a quick shave outside the shower, which I have tried 😊 What lowers the rating is that this "strip" disappears quickly, and the blades start to feel dull faster than, for example, the ones I usually use from Gillette. This means you also need to change them more often to avoid irritation. Eco-friendly alternative
I have tested Estrid's interchangeable razor blades, and I think it's both economical and eco-friendly that you only replace the head and not the whole razor when needed. I really like that 🫶🏻 The head is covered with a moisturizing gel that means you actually don't need shaving foam – even though I used Estrid's shave gel alongside. The blades glide easily over the skin and work great on legs and armpits. The only downside is that the razor head still feels a bit large in more intimate areas. Maybe it could be possible to make a narrower head for these areas? 🤞🏻 But all in all, I'm satisfied with these blades!
