Good
A rich and nourishing cream that truly envelops the skin. It feels a bit too thick for me as a day cream, but as a night cream, it is absolutely perfect. In the morning, the skin feels soft, hydrated, and plump. Awesome for recovery, but takes its time
I've been testing this cream for just over a month now, and it has become a welcome addition to my bathroom cabinet, especially now that my skin has started to feel a bit more demanding with the years. Texture and feel The first impression is that the cream is really thick and rich. It feels almost a bit too heavy right upon application, but it sinks in surprisingly well without leaving that classic greasy film that one often wants to avoid. The fact that it is completely fragrance-free is a big plus in my book – it feels clean and functional for sensitive skin. Results I notice the biggest difference in the morning after using it as a night cream. My skin feels significantly softer, more "plumped" and elastic, especially around the cheeks and forehead where I easily get dry. It gives a safe and protective feeling, a bit like a moisture boost that actually lasts. Usage in everyday life Evening: Perfect. Here it gets the time to really sink in and work overnight. Daytime: Works well on the weekend when you’re not in a hurry, but on a stressful weekday morning it can feel a bit too time-consuming before it settles in completely. Cons: The packaging. Having to dig the cream out of a jar feels both a bit unhygienic and somewhat old-fashioned. A tube or pump would have been much more convenient. Also, the jar is quite small considering the price, even though the product itself is quite economical. Summary: A reliable and solid face cream that gets the job done without fuss. Perfect for you if you want to combat dryness and look a bit more refreshed without using scented products. Thick, but absorbent
This cream has been in my routine for about a month now and it has quickly become a go-to product. The texture is rich but still light, and it absorbs well without a greasy feeling. Thick but good cream for dry skin
Really thick, quite sticky consistency. The product spreads quite well though, and it doesn't feel sticky. Dry skin has really liked this a lot. Minus for the packaging, it feels a bit unhygienic when you have to really dig the cream out of the jar, a small dab isn't enough due to the thick consistency. I have been a test pilot for Smartson and got to try this product from CeraVe for free. About me: 41 years old, dry skin. Fine lines on my forehead. Lacking firmness and glow. I have tried the CeraVe Skin Renewing Vitamin C Serum in the morning and followed up with the CeraVe Skin Renewing Peptide Cream. At night, I have used the CeraVe Skin Renewing Retinol Serum. Both serums absorb easily and quickly into the skin without feeling sticky. Neutral scent. With the night serum containing retinol, I felt a bit of tingling in my skin, and since I am new to retinol, I started using it every other night. The peptide cream is wonderful! Very thick consistency, but not greasy and leaves no film on the skin. You feel completely soft afterward. However, I notice that by the afternoon, I still feel a bit dry and tight. I like all the products, but in this short time, I haven't noticed any direct difference in how my skin looks or feels. I need more moisture than what these products have provided. Good cream
I have now tested this cream as a man for a few weeks daily. The cream spreads easily and absorbs quickly, and my face doesn't stay greasy or shiny. The skin feels hydrated all day, but not heavy. The skin tone looks more even, and my face generally looks fresher. Big plus for the fact that the cream doesn't smell like anything, as facial cream shouldn't have a scent in my opinion.
