    Super nice product

I've had problems with pimples and red areas, suspect rosacea. Started with this and I've noticed a crazy big difference.

I can say with 90% certainty that is rosacea. You should go to the clinic and you will probably start a treatment, likely with soolantra :) It has helped my skin a lot.

    Can't get it to work?

I really think azelaic acid is something for me, but I can't figure out when to use it in my routine? It's super real, like a cream. Maybe someone has the magical solution?

Perfect if you have problems with acne or blackheads

I love this product, even my boyfriend uses it. I use it to get rid of my acne scars and not be so red. My boyfriend uses it because he has problems with blackheads and pimples, and it helps. It's like a primer with silicone, it gives the blur effect and makes our pores not visible. I only recommend it if you like the silicone feel. Otherwise, you can check out another brand, but the azelaic acid itself has saved my face, which was full of so much acne.

    Sensitive skin

Can this help with perioral dermatitis?

Hi Selma😊 Thank you for your question✨ It varies greatly how individual skin reacts. For some, The Ordinary Azelaic Acid 10% can help with perioral dermatitis, but the effect varies and should be used with caution – especially if you have sensitive or reactive skin. The product contains a milder concentration than what is often used for PD and what is prescribed after assessment by a dermatologist (commonly 15–20%), but it can still help calm inflammation and even out skin tone for some. Others may find that it triggers and worsens. ✅ Benefits: mild, barrier-friendly, some research supports use for PD ⚠️ Keep in mind: introduce slowly, patch test first, avoid other strong active ingredients at the same time Don't forget sunscreen during the day! If the skin becomes irritated or does not improve within a few weeks – pause and consider consulting a dermatologist instead 👩🏻‍⚕️ Hope the answer can guide you and that you have a lovely day🍂

    Routine

Hey! If you have a routine that looks like this: Morning The Inkey List Salicylic Acid Cleanser La Roche-Posay Toleriane Sensitive Fluid eucerin oil control spf 50+ Evening Micellar water + The Inkey List Salicylic Acid Cleanser Basiron AC 5% (Benzoyl Peroxide) + Differin (Adapalene 0.1%) (every other day) La Roche-Posay Toleriane Sensitive Fluid Is it OK to add The Ordinary Azelaic Acid Suspension 10% as an active in the morning routine, or is it too much with actives both morning and evening? Thanks!

Do you have acne? Has your doctor said it's okay to use all these products together? My advice (or my dermatologist) is to only use a moisturizer while being treated with Differin, my doctor prescribed Propyless to me as a moisturizing cream (and Propyderm when I was medicated with isotretinoin). Differin and salicylic acid are not a good combo, irritating and can get even worse for the skin.

    Combine with other products

Hi. I have the following products, how can I incorporate this one but also combine it with the products? That is, which can I use in the same routine and which should not be used in the same routine? Azelaic Acid Suspension 10% (TO) Glycolic Acid 7% Exfoliating Toner (TO) Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% (TO) Retinal 0.2% Emulsion (TO) C-Glow Serum (Geek & Gorgeous) (I will always finish with SPF and cream in the day/night)

Hey Anna! I don’t know anything about your skin, so this is just a product/ingredient recommendation, because you have a lot of active products, and it can easily become too much for the skin - make sure you also have gentle nourishing products to balance it out. 🌞 Vitamin C alone in the morning since it’s ascorbic acid plus moisturizer and UV protection. 🌛 Then the rest is in the evening, but all should be gradually introduced, even Azelaic if you start with that, and acids/retinoids should be used on different evenings. Niacinamide can often be combined with acids and retinoids. Swap out glycolic and try Azelaic or alternate, I would say. Plus moisturizer. Take care 🌸

    Night cream?

Hey! Does this cream work as a night cream? I use cleanser, serum, and then some type of cream in the evening.
