Azelaic Acid Suspension 10%
Advice on how Azelaic Acid Suspension 10% could fit into my routine? Right now I’m using these: The Ordinary Squalane Cleanser (morning and evening) Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 (morning) Alpha Arbutin 2% + HA (evening) Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% (evening) Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA (morning and evening). The Ordinary Salicylic Acid 2% Masque, twice a week + Granactive Retinoid* 2% Emulsion (once a week). (+ sunscreen during the day of course!) On the days I use Salicylic Acid or the Retinoid, I skip the other serums. I was wondering if it could possibly replace the Alpha Arbutin? (Or any of the other products. I’d like to try to keep my skincare routine as simple and uncomplicated as possible). I know that Azelaic Acid shouldn’t be used together with e.g. the Salicylic Acid mask, but can these be used on different days? Grateful for any response :)262 views- Skin therapist at Lyko4 daysHey Frida! Now I don’t know anything about your skin, and you already have many active products like acid and retinoid plus 3 serums, so I have a bit of a hard time fitting it into your routine. Active products usually need to be introduced gradually, like Azelaic acid, and used more than once a week to see results unless we’re talking about peeling or masks. Right now, I think your routine looks complete, and I wouldn’t dare recommend adding another acid, even if it’s gentler 🙏 🤍

When should I apply it?
Hejjj! I’m wondering when I should apply this? My routine right now is first to wash, then toner, then serum, and finally moisturizer. Is this like a serum? Or when should I put it on? ❤️331 views- Customer service at Lyko1 weekHey Ida! You can use The Ordinary Azelaic Acid Suspension instead of your serum, but you can also keep the serum in a different routine! My tip is to use the serum in the morning and the Azelaic Acid Suspension in the evening. Take care!

Combination with Epiduo?
Can this be used in the same skincare routine as Epiduo, which contains benzoyl peroxide and adapalene?1 likes819 views- Customer service at Lyko3 weeksHi Eino, It's important to use Epiduo, that the routine mainly consists of mild basic products that soothe, strengthen, and protect the skin during treatment 🧖♀️ The skin's protective layer often weakens during treatment, so I would recommend avoiding other acid-containing, exfoliating products. Have a nice day!1 likes

Usage
When it says to apply all over the face, should you then apply moisturizer?724 views- Customer service at Lyko2 weeksHey Greta! You don’t need to wear any cream if you don’t want to. But if you feel that you are very dry, I would recommend a cream Take care!

Together with cosrx
Can this be used with cosrx blackhead power liquid?981 views- Skin therapist at Lyko1 monthHi Ingrid It should be perfectly fine to use the Azelaic Acid Suspension on the days you've used the BHA Blackhead Power Liquid. When it comes to active ingredients in skincare, it's very important to be careful about combining products from different brands with each other. Try the products together on a small test area before you potentially use it on your whole face Wishing you a super nice day!

Absolutely incredible!
Amazing, already after a week of use it had healed both redness and perioral dermatitis that I had been battling for several months! I hope there aren't any relapses like some mention in the comments, thinking that one might have to use it in periods in that case. But incredibly good, a life saver 🙏2 likes918 views- 6 daysI have this on top of only marine hyaluronics in the evening, then I use natural moisturising factors during the day because I need moisture too 😃1 likes

Worked for a bit
It worked for a bit and I found that it did clear my acne and stop breakouts as often however after a few weeks my skin returned to normal. Have not repurchased and am not planning on it. I have combination skin btw 🤙🤙🤙1 likes1325 viewsto leave a comment - 2 monthsverified customer
Pilling
Hey, I tried this with the alpha arbutin serum from both REVON and The Ordinary, but I noticed it starts to pill. Is there a reason for this?1352 viewsto leave a comment - 2 monthsverified customer

This formula offers a very high 10% concentration of high-purity Azelaic Acid in a lightweight cream-gel system.
