The most important product in the bathroom cabinet
I literally use this for everything: Scalp scrub once a week; Removes product buildup, hair becomes shinier and less oily. Apply to the entire scalp, let it sit after a light massage for 10-15 minutes, and double cleanse with shampoo. For armpits and groin 2 times a week after showering; Removes bacteria that cause sweat odor. As needed every couple of weeks as a gentle scrub for the face like a toner; Helps especially with oily skin and small breakouts. After shaving (not on the same day, otherwise it stings); Removes and prevents ingrown hairs. Treatment for keratosis pilaris on the forearms; Apply to the skin of the forearms 1-2 times a week after showering, wait 15 minutes, and apply cream or oil on top. Foot scrub; 2-3 times a week after showering, apply to the soles of the feet. Let it sit for 15 minutes and apply foot cream and put on socks.33972 views- The comment was made 1 yearsNice to hear that the review was helpful! I always apply it to my skin through my hands, so I take about a tablespoon of toner in my hand and then just slather it on my forearms. It's good to let it dry and work for a moment before applying oil, and it shouldn't be washed off. As body oil, I use Weleda's rose oil, but any oil or cream works! For the groin area, I do the same, using a slightly smaller amount (teaspoon) on my hands and just applying it to the edge of my underwear. I don't use any other deodorants. This has especially been a convenient way to stay fresh during the summer. Let's really hope this product is never discontinued. 😆13 likes

Hello,
The product name and photo don't match. It's showing the wrong picture. Both are sold as two different product by Ordinary brand. See the pictures attached. Effective exfoliation for clearer and more even skin
Glycolic Acid 7% Toner from The Ordinary is a powerful yet affordable exfoliation that really makes a difference in skin texture ✨. It helps to remove dead skin cells, even out skin tone, and provide more glow over time. The formula is lightweight and absorbs quickly, but it is also quite active – perfect for you if you want to work on texture, glow, or clogged pores 🍋. I prefer to use it a few evenings a week to avoid irritation, and the result is clearer, softer, and more radiant skin.241 views - The post was made 6 daysRating: 4 out of 5verified customer
Okay if not too often
Have to use 2-3 times a week at first because I notice it’s strong. Can cause small outbreaks and redness at first but goes away after a while. Is quite moisturizing too.604 views - The post was made 1 weekRating: 5 out of 5
Using in hair
I use this on my hair 20 minutes before I shower one day a week. My scalp feels so much better and I've gotten rid of a lot of itchiness in my hair thanks to this product.779 views - The post was made 1 week
Used as a scrub?
Can you use this as a scrub? Together with a glove?1 product in post Used as a scrub?709 views- The user's roll: Customer service at Lyko. The comment was made 1 weekHey Cecilie💌 The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Exfoliating Toner is a chemical exfoliating toner, and it is not meant to be used as a physical scrub – so together with a glove or to scrub the skin mechanically. It is formulated to work chemically by dissolving dead skin cells with glycolic acid, not through physical friction. If you use it with a scrubbing glove or physical scrub at the same time, it can be too strong for the skin and cause irritation, redness, or over-exfoliation. Have a lovely day ahead💖

Don't know
I've used a little on my face, armpits, and on my body, but I'm having a hard time determining if it has really made any difference. I might not have as much problem skin as the others.1638 views - The post was made 1 monthRating: 5 out of 5verified customer
Super nice product
I love that you can use the product for so many different things! Exfoliating the scalp, can be used under the arms so that the sweat smell isn't so intense, and general exfoliation. Mega product! #lykoreview1621 views - The post was made 1 monthRating: 5 out of 5verified customer

Strawberry legs
Could this product work for strawberry legs? Or is there another one you recommend?2532 views- The user's roll: Farmaceut på Lyko. The comment was made 1 monthHi Charlott😊 Thank you for your question✨ The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% can absolutely help with strawberry legs as it exfoliates the skin and clears the pores. Start slowly, for example 1-2 times a week, moisturize afterwards, and use sunscreen if the legs are visible. If you don't see improvement, other acids like salicylic acid might also be worth trying. Here’s an extra tip: lyko.com/sv/qa/q-a-salicylic-acid-body-wash-250-ml?fromsearch=q%2ba%2bsalicylic%2bacid%2bbody%2bwash%2b250ml%26suggestionFor=q%2ba%2bsal%26suggestionList=suggestions Hope the answer can be helpful, and I wish you good luck! ❄️

The OrdinaryGlycolic Acid 7% Exfoliating Toner 240 ml
Select size
100 ml240 mlGlycolic Acid 7% Exfoliating Toner (previously Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution) is an exfoliator that significantly smoothes skin texture and promotes the appearance of a more even skin tone, as well as more luminous skin, with regular use. It also reduces the appearance of lines and wrinkles. The water-based toner format is suited to daily use.
It contains a 7% concentration of Glycolic acid - a well-studied alpha-hydroxy acid - and a plant-derived Tasmanian Pepperberry derivative, which varies in colour seasonally, and which may cause an apparent colour variation in the formula from time to time.
This formula should not be used on sensitive, peeling or compromised skin. Please refer to the additional sun protection notes and other warnings in the provided directions.
This pH of this formula is approximately 3.6. Glycolic Acid has a pKa of 3.6 and pKa is the most important aspect to consider in formulating with acids. pKa describes the acidity of a molecule. When pKa is close to pH, there is an ideal balance between salt and acidity, maximizing effectiveness of the acid and reducing irritation.
Use:
Face/Neck Application: Apply once daily, ideally in the evening. Apply to the face and neck using a cotton pad or fingers.
Scalp Application: Apply to dry scalp, three times a week. Tilt your head back and use the nozzle to gently dispense product from the front to the back of the head in a sweeping motion. Massage well.
Do not rinse off. Do not use on sensitive, peeling, or compromised skin. Avoid the eye contour and contact with eyes.
Contact of the product with the skin must be of limited frequency or duration.
If eye or skin irritation occurs, rinse thoroughly, cease use, and consult a physician. Use only as directed on unbroken skin. Patch testing prior to use is advised. Keep out of reach of children.
Sunburn Alert: This product contains an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that may increase your skin’s sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn. Use a sunscreen, wear protective clothing, and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards.
