Retinoids can cause dryness and peeling at first, especially if you go too fast. To reduce irritation, try to: - Start slowly with retinol 1-2 evenings a week on dry skin. - Use the Bio-Active Ceramide cream before and after retinol for the first few weeks. - Avoid other strong products at the same time.
