Not a typical clay. More on the waxy side in consistency, but other than that it also has unusually much shine for a clay. Understand me right, it’s a low shine clay – but for what it is, it still has quite a bit of shine. Think about it if you really want a matte clay.
But, a pretty unique product that gives a nice low shine finish while still maintaining the texture from clays.
The scent profile is woody, with a certain hint of leather, and then there’s a hint of something almost metallic and synthetic: possibly it’s a touch of lavender in the mid-range. Lavender can give that synthetic, almost futuristic touch in certain scent accords (a good example of this is Calvin Klein’s SHOCK, 2011). But the woody leather-like dominates, I combine this with a Creed Aventus clone as a choice of perfume, works well.
Finally, I want to say that you get a nice finish and nice texture from this product. But like with so many other clays, it’s quite hard to slick the sides, but this one was perhaps even more unyielding. It’s no problem if you have a fade, but if you, like me, have longer hair on the sides, you’ll need to fix the sides with another product, it doesn’t work at all for slick.
But if you have a pomp/quiff + proper fade on the sides, it’s probably perfect. But not a product for everyone! It mixes a few different elements of various, which is a bit fun but also very niche.
But, 4/5 overall rating anyway, you see the picture, it looks nice. Hairdryer and a few pulls with your hands through the hair and it’s done.
