Alpha Plus Jättenattljusolja (Evening primrose oil) contains the fatty acid gamma-linolenic acid, GLA. The Evening primrose is a beautiful yellow flower that is a hybrid form of two other cultivated species in the family. The Evening primrose has proven to have at least one fantastic use. The oil from this plant is unusually rich in the fatty acid GLA. GLA stands for gamma-linolenic acid and this fat belongs to the omega 6 family. The body can synthesize this fatty acid itself, but for those of you who wish to increase your intake, Alpha Plus has developed Jättenattljusolja (Evening primrose oil). Each capsule contains 500 mg evening primrose oil. One capsule provides 50 mg of GLA. Vitamin E helps to protect the cells against oxidative stress.

Use:
