Cranberries belong to the bilberry family and have a long tradition in natural medicine. Cranberries contain proanthocyanidins, a type of antioxidant within the flavonoid group. Cranberries are often used to prevent urinary tract infections, as the berries contain a substance that prevents bacteria from attaching to the bladder wall.

Hibiscus is a flowering plant that belongs to the Malvas genus and is mainly found in tropical areas. Hibiscus supports the body's natural defenses and contributes to the normal functioning of the urinary tract.

D-mannose is a simple sugar that is found in berries, fruits and some trees. D-Mannose consists of large molecules that are not absorbed into the blood and thus do not affect blood sugar.

The capsules also contain riboflavin (formerly vitamin B2), vitamin C and biotin. Vitamin C contributes to the normal functioning of the immune system. Riboflavin and biotin contribute to maintaining normal mucous membranes.
