MultiCollagen Plus from Re-fresh Superfood contains 5 types of collagen as well as OptiMSM® and Kondroitin.

MultiCollagen is complete and contains all the essential amino acids. It is also easily absorbed due to its hydrolysed peptide form, which means that it is already divided into shorter chains of amino acids. Collagen is found in large parts of the body as it is the connective tissue's main protein. Collagen is thus an important part of ligaments and articular cartilage. Hydrolyzed collagen provides flexibility, strength and support to connective tissue, ligaments, tendons and bones.

Chondroitin is a substance that is found naturally in both connective tissue and cartilage. Chondroitin helps support joint mobility and helps keep joints supple.

OptiMSM® is pure and organic sulfur. MSM is an abbreviation for methylsulfonylmethane which is important for the creation of collagen and the correct formation of cartilage and bone tissue. OptiMSM® is patented and the only MSM dietary supplement that is so pure that it is classified as food (GRAS) in the United States.

The capsule is made of gelatin (from beef) which is a precursor to collagen. A capsule of gelatin allows the body to easily digest and thus easily assimilate the contents.
