The best I've ever tried!
This vitamin C serum has been a game changer for me! (I have 34-year-old combination skin that is sensitive.) This gives me so much glow, a more even skin tone, and not to mention it's very economical to use. Tiny minus for the smell, but it disappears very quickly thankfully. I'm now on my second bottle and will never stop buying it🤩 (NB! This is my favorite vitamin C. First of all, it’s pure ascorbic acid with the right pH – I’ve actually checked it on several bottles 😍 I started to see noticeable results after the second bottle, using it every morning. It evens out the skin tone very nicely and works as a strong antioxidant – it oxidizes in a way along with the free radicals. I can clearly tell that it has had a positive effect on the skin on my face. Especially, I see a more even skin tone and less visible wrinkles. Even if you haven't had allergic reactions before, the skin can react to such strong active ingredients, especially if it is sensitive or not used to vitamin C. I recommend that you take a break from this and if you want to give it another chance, that you patch test on a small area first for a few days. If you experience the same thing/irritation, it’s best not to use it. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you want help finding another product that suits your skin better instead. Really good but poor packaging
Really good and effective in itself. I have bought it several times but it goes bad every time before I get to use it. I use the serum every morning but still it gets too old before I have used it up. A new airtight packaging would be nice. Hi! What is the difference between the old one that is no longer sold and the new one that has recently come out? I have oily skin and really large pores, does this vitamin C serum work for me? If not, which vitamin C serum would you recommend for me? The serum may work for you if you have oily skin and large pores, but keep in mind that it is quite strong, and some find it feels a bit "oily", especially if you already have oily skin as you mentioned. If your skin is sensitive, it can become irritating and needs to be gradually introduced. If you want something milder and more pore-friendly, a lighter vitamin C serum might be a better fit. Also, feel free to check out this one, which also has a lower concentration but is more fluid lyko.com/sv/cosrx/cosrx-the-vitamin-c-13-serum-20ml-0d80ff7b Regarding retinol: since you haven't noticed any effect from COSRX 0.1%, I would suggest trying The Ordinary Granactive Retinoid 2% Emulsion, which is mild but more effective for improving skin texture and pores. Never use retinol and vitamin C in the same routine; use vitamin C in the morning and retinol in the evening.
