Not recommended🥲
The hair clips do work as they should; they bend tightly against the head and hold the hair in place but...! If you try to avoid hair breakage and pulling, I can't recommend these on the first use, the hair got stuck so badly that it pulled hair out even though I tried to open it so it wouldn't happen. It's a shame, they did hold the hair in place but I don't want the hair to come out with them. The picture also didn't make clear if it was a buckle-type hairpin or a regular foldable clip. These were foldable clip models, although the text in the picture suggested it was a buckle. My hair is already thin and fragile.
