Excellent price-quality ratio!
I have aging, surface-dry combination skin, and this CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser really surprised me positively. My first observation was the pump bottle, which makes the product extremely easy to use – dispensing is effortless and you don’t need to open the bottle separately, which is especially convenient in the shower. The consistency felt more like a moisturizer than a traditional cleansing product, and in a good way. It doesn’t foam at all. The skin didn’t feel tight or dry after washing, but soft and soothed. It also has no scent, so this will definitely suit many, if not everyone. The product contains hyaluronic acid and ceramides. The promise is that it cleanses and moisturizes without disturbing the skin's own protective layer. And it really does🥰 Especially on days when I didn’t wear makeup – for example during vacation – this was really easy and pleasant to use. The product worked great as part of my shower routine, making facial cleansing effortless. I mainly used the product on my face. A big plus is that it also works for the body, making it versatile. It is also economical since one pump was enough for the face, neck, chest, back, and arms.😃 Although it cannot remove waterproof makeup, I used it in a double cleansing routine. It fits perfectly for that. However, I prefer a simple routine, so 1 cleansing product should remove makeup and dirt so that I don’t have to double cleanse. That’s why I deducted one star. I recommend trying it in a double cleansing routine or if you don’t use heavy makeup, due to its affordable price, good cleansing, and moisturizing properties. I hadn’t tried products from this line before, but this cleanser genuinely got me excited. After washing, the skin's protective barrier and moisture balance remained well intact, and it even felt like the skin was in better condition over a longer period. At least the skin felt soft and healthy. Overall, an extremely gentle, moisturizing, and worry-free cleansing product that is especially suitable for dry and sensitive skin. Full points also because the product is dermatologically tested, comes in a nearly 500ml bottle, and is AFFORDABLE! The Best
The Vichy product line/brand evokes trustworthy thoughts in me. But.. again, serums with watery or gel-like consistency give me distrust. I feel that they often haven't been really good moisturizers, so this trial was interesting. I have aging, surface-dry combination skin and love to use many different serums and am always looking for something new that is a little better and more exciting. 🤭 The product's promises; -Strengthens the skin against external influences and gives it a healthy and radiant appearance. -Improves the skin's moisture balance, reduces dryness-related lines, and brightens dull skin. -Suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin. -Contains no fragrances or parabens. -already 4 weeks later a fuller, smoother, and fresher skin The bottle has a convenient pump that dispenses well for the face and neck, one for both. The product is also stylishly packaged in a bluish glass bottle. I like it. 😎 The product absorbs surprisingly quickly. At first, I thought, do I just have such dry skin that it disappears into my skin so quickly 😆, but no, it does it even after a few weeks, which is a big plus. 👏 Wonderful that I don't have to spend time in the mornings waiting for it to dry like with many other products. The product is a thin, watery, and fragrance-free. It leaves no film on the skin and really moisturizes effectively despite being so thin. The moisture is the only thing you feel, in a good way. 😃 It contains moisturizing hyaluronic acid, which helps retain and bind moisture to the skin, as well as 89% volcanic Vichy spring water. A really good combination! I have been using the product for about three weeks now and can say that it really lives up to its promises. I can already see that my skin is much fresher and fuller. And to be completely honest, it feels like my skin is in good condition for the first time in winter. Not dry, flaky, and itchy 🥴 Absolutely wonderful 😍 The product size is, in my opinion, good 50 ml, and even though the price is on the good side of 30, its effectiveness is so good that the price is completely justified. NOTE! The product is now on sale at Lyko for €26, so if you haven't tried it, I definitely recommend giving it a go! 🥰 I promise you'll love it. Power Pack and Skin Beautifier
I was excited about the product as soon as I got it for testing. My experience with #larocheposay products is that if you need reliable and good quality, it's worth getting. ☺️ I have aging, surface-dry combination skin. Unfortunately, this cream did not work in daily use, or at least not under makeup, as the foundation started to roll after application. Instead, it has been extremely good for winter use and evening use. The consistency is clearly thicker and very effectively moisturizing, and the skin feels nourished and soft for a long time. The manufacturer's promised up to 72 hours of hydration seems credible for me, as I did not feel the need to apply more cream in the morning - the skin was still in good condition after the night. Hydrated, elastic, and vibrant. I also noticed in longer use that I did not miss foundation on my skin. Hydrated skin is, in my opinion, very beautiful, and this was achieved here - even very quickly. I also appreciate the product's sustainable development and economic aspect. There is a refill pack available for the cream, which reduces packaging waste and makes the product more sensible in the long run. A new full-size jar is generally clearly more expensive than the refill, so there is concrete savings on the next purchases. The product is a bit on the expensive side for my budget, so I don't buy it often. Now it is on sale, so it's worth checking out. Even though the product did not work under makeup, the very effective hydration, good winter use, and the price advantage of the refill pack easily raise the overall rating to 4/5 stars. This is an excellent choice for a night cream and for the cold season, especially if the skin needs intense hydration. Glass skin set definitely recommended! Practical, compact, and long-lasting!
Let me first tell you a bit about myself, that I rarely use foundation and even less often concealer. So, I have maybe tried color corrector once or twice in my life. The reason for that is that I don’t really know how to use it, or at least that’s how I feel. However, I do have a need for it 😆😅. After all, I am a middle-aged woman whose face also shows dark circles under the eyes and other color variations. The first impression of the product is that it’s nice since it’s creamy, so you would think it would be easy to use. The packaging and compartments are also very small. You don’t need much of the product, but I’m wondering how I can take it out in a sensible way with my fingers without digging it out with my nails. 🤔 we will see ☺️😅 For my first try, I applied the color correcting darker shade under my eye and also the lighter skin tone to brighten under the eye. It actually brightened and looked relatively natural. So I managed to use it 🤩 in the next try I used the green on the side of my nose and elsewhere where I saw red, like salmon pink under the eyes, and again the light where I need brightening. Well, you can imagine how that went. And I also took videos & pictures 😅 (too bad I didn’t take any on the first try 😶) There are already many products on the list, and clearly, I didn’t manage to apply it sufficiently little, as it starts to settle after half a day. Even though everything is set with powder and still has setting spray on top. I realize that makeup can always be seen on the skin, but I don’t like the bumpy appearance that inevitably comes out at some point during the day. It can be seen, for example, on the cheeks, chin, and the center of the forehead. And for that reason, I generally don’t use makeup on my face. I think the product seems quite promising, even for me, who is definitely not used to using these. It just needs a little getting used to and learning. Now I have applied the product with my fingers because I thought that the warmth from my fingers would help in applying it and that I would get it on sufficiently lightly/thinly. The three mentioned colors are completely sufficient to cover the areas that need it. Due to its small size, it’s also easy to take along when traveling. At first, it felt difficult to take the product, but I came to the conclusion that precisely because of its small size, I don’t accidentally take too much. The product spreads relatively easily even with fingers, so the warmth helps with that. Not for me
Mascara that is 3 in 1, it promises both volume, curl, and length. The first impression of the product is that it seems almost festive due to the silver packaging. The brush seems suitably small, and the mascara itself seems suitably creamy; not too dry or too watery. My makeup use is precisely mascara and brows, that’s it. But with mascaras, I’m used to using waterproof mascara. And the biggest thing for me is durability and curl. Other mascaras tend to struggle to hold the curl. I feel that my lashes are quite long and healthy otherwise, and I take care of them every night with a serum designed for that. With the small brush, you can reach tight spots like the inner and outer corners of the eye. It’s also really easy to apply the product, and it spreads very evenly. Watching the video, you can see how beautifully it actually applies, and the lashes look long and curled. I would say this is a perfect alternative if you’re not looking for waterproof. The product indeed lasts all day; it doesn’t smudge under the eyes or flake off onto the cheeks. There’s a hint of extra length on my lashes (if that even counts, compared to what I usually have) and as for the curl, it started to drop right after I stepped out the door. In the picture afterward, you can see how the lashes are already starting to fall forward. There are several layers of mascara. In a very natural look, this could work. It depends a lot on what you’re looking for. I’m attaching a picture showing what I personally look for in a mascara. Unfortunately, this didn’t score very high on my scale. Absolutely wonderful🤩🤤
Moisturizing body lotion that promises silky soft skin with a quick-drying and lightweight formula. Sounds really good, as I’m bad at moisturizing my body skin, precisely because I can’t wait for the skin to dry from greasiness. Let’s just say I’m quite clumsy about it 😅 sometimes I get excited or it’s just a must when the skin is already flaking from dryness, and beautifully moisturized skin is also really beautiful. On the other hand, now is a good time to test it since my skin is as dry as a cracker.🤭 What must be said right away about this is that it is organic certified 💪🤩👏 First impression; a basic practical and simple pump bottle, and under the pump is a seal, so no damage can occur before it is opened (e.g. during transport). As someone who has used a bit of grease, I can’t say if there’s usually a cap on such pump bottles, but at least generally, cosmetic products have caps. It feels a bit strange. It seems lonely without it 🤭 The pump is, however, lockable, it needs to be turned a bit to open, and turning it the opposite way locks it. I’ll try it and....🤤 what a scent!!! I can’t even start applying it because I keep sniffing the lovely vanilla tangerine scent. It reminds me of a delicious vanilla pastry with something citrusy creamy or something like that. And I really want to smell like this!!🤩 My dog also loved the scent, and I had to tell him it’s not edible 🤭 The scent lingers on the skin only as long as it is fully absorbed🥹. Maybe that’s still good news for those who don’t like the scent lingering or being noticeable in any way. The product really delivers on its promise - I immediately thought about how light it is, but will it absorb so quickly that even I (the patient one) am satisfied. And as a note; I took a generous amount. I’m trying it on my arms, which I just applied before my legs - and they are completely dry 👏 actually soft and dry 👏 It’s just the right time for me, thinking that when I come out of the shower, I could apply it here, and while I put on my facial care products, it’s already dried, win-win.🎖️ The product is also really light, not creamy but truly lotion. I would think this would work well as a maintenance moisture lotion. Such dry and quite neglected skin like mine absorbs the product quite a bit, but once you get the balance, you don’t need much of this. I initially applied it all over my skin with about 4 large 🍓 equivalent amounts. (2 for hands and two for legs) After a few weeks of irregular use (about 3 weeks about 3-4 times/week), I notice that my skin is soft and moisturized.🤩👏 It’s wonderful that such a light product can moisturize so effectively. And quite quickly, maybe already after 2-3 applications, I noticed that I no longer need to apply so much. Especially after the shower, it’s nice to apply when the skin is damp, it locks in moisture and crowns the shower like a mini spa moment, with its lovely scent. The scent also lifts my spirits.😌 In summary, I would say that the product is extremely pleasant and recommendable. Moreover, that it is organic certified and an even more functional whole than many other chemical alternatives crowns it. I can’t find anything about the product that would make me reduce stars. It is absolutely ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ worthy and truly deserves it. This will definitely stay on my shelf, and it should be mentioned that its simple and white packaging will surely fit many aesthetics, and the feng shui is on point.😁 I highly recommend trying it if you need moisture but don’t want a greasy feeling (as we definitely need in winter) and at the same time want a wonderfully pleasant scent and refreshment. Pretty okay
The first impression of the product is nothing special - it seems like a pretty basic okay hair oil. The bottle is a suitable width and size, so it fits well and securely in the hand when pumping the oil. I have dry, short, colored, and somewhat damaged hair. The oil needs to be really good for me to notice a difference. I rarely use oil, but I trust other care products like masks and leave-in conditioners. The pump dispenses a suitable small amount at a time, which is nice so you don't have to be careful. The product has a pleasantly light and sweet scent, and the consistency is like a gel that is relatively runny. I have now been using #marianila oil for about two weeks, and I have to admit that it doesn't create any wow effect. My hair feels soft, and maybe there's a hint of more shine. I also notice that even though I didn't apply it last night, my hair is still easier to manage and style this morning - and best of all, the humidity outside doesn't turn it into a tangled mess right away. And as a bonus; my hands are also soft and feel moisturized 🤩. When I look at the price of the product - it also affects my rating. 34.90€/100 ml of oil is too much for me. And I know that you can get just as good for less. The smaller 30 ml bottle is around 15€. (By the way, it's currently on sale for 29€/100 ml if you're interested ☺️). I can't find anything to criticize about this in itself... except that the product contains silicone if you want to avoid that. I personally feel that silicone can help maintain the smooth surface of the hair, but its buildup in the hair is not good as it prevents moisture and other nourishing products from being absorbed into the hair. Additionally, it is very difficult to wash out. Pretty okay, but the price-quality ratio doesn't match in my opinion. Such a shame
The price-quality ratio of the boxes has really gone down😓 such a shame. Earlier, you could order it just for a couple of products, but the price was reasonable compared to the products.. it’s not like that for me anymore... It hasn’t been like that for a while.
