During his many expeditions to the Amazons, explorer Guy Long Floyd kept detailed notes of his observations. In these notes we can read: “As I set out to uncover the mystery of the strange noise in the days ahead, an unfamiliar monkey with a peculiar mutton chop beard visited my hut. While this monkey ransacked my hut and forced me to leave, it did leave a sympathetic aroma of cardamom and patchouli before departing. Further studies are required.” Multon was inspired by the scent the male use to attract sexual partners which has been documented extensively by Guy. Indigenous communities in these areas mixes a similar scent from herbs they call vibrações incríveis, or awesome vibes.
