Brylcreem

Timeless classic. As a stand-alone product, it’s a bit tricky, it has almost no hold. Even though I’ve seen people rock a pompadour using only this. Something I regularly use it for is as a top coating, I apply a thin layer with my palms (I apply very lightly, my hands should barely touch the hair). And then you get incredible shine in the hair even for products that have no shine. And yes, why would you want to do that? Why not just buy a product that already has shine? The answer to that is simple. Brylcreem has exceptional shine. There is no clay that has as high shine as Brylcreem. But, if you want the texture from clay but still have a bit of Old Hollywood shine, apply a little Brylcreem afterward. Which is exactly what I did in the picture. Finally, I want to say that Brylcreem smells very good, quite similar to Davidoff Cool Water (1988). They go very well together. And Brylcreem is cheap 💯
