Cola Dream
Making good shower foam is very difficult, as the products will always be compared to Rituals products, which were the originals and took the market by storm ⛈️. I am a Rituals fan myself, but I believe I can still keep an open mind when testing new alternatives, which I am more than happy to do as #lykoinflutester, thank you for that Lyko! The first out of the trio of shower foams I received was this Caramel Crush. It comes out as a gel, but upon contact with water, it becomes a soft and very pleasant foam. It really has a fitting name, as it truly smells like cola. Sweet and nice, not as strong as Rituals shower foam though, so if you want something more modest in appearance, this could be an alternative. I do not feel that the foam dries out the skin or anything, and I really love the feeling of showering with these foams, it creates such a lovely sensation on the skin, I think. And you get clean! A must for me with sometimes weak hands is that it is easy to get product/s out of their packaging/bottles/jars. There were no problems at all here! The price point is reasonable, I think. If I were to be critical of something, it would be that I think the branding could differ a bit more between Caramel Crush and the other shower foam Crisp Bouquet, as they have almost the same color. But that is really a minor detail. The scent didn't appeal to me
I was lucky to test this shower foam as an influencer💛 The packaging is cute and clean. The consistency is typical shower foam, starting as a gel when squeezed out and then transforming into a thick foam. Now in the winter months, I have drier skin and therefore prefer to use moisturizing shower products. This foam claims to leave the skin hydrated, which I do not experience it doing. It feels like a regular shower foam, which cleanses but does not add moisture. The scent is typically caramel, which is a hype at the moment. Personally, I'm not a fan of this scent. 💚Pros: - Pleasant consistency - Price is okay ➖Cons: - Does not add moisture - Does not stand out from similar products - The scent didn't appeal to me All in all, I think it's just okay, and something that's fine to use. Chemical scent
Like the idea and the price but the scent doesn’t feel even a bit "natural." Rather so strong that it feels like it’s corrosive, corrosive coconut 😀. More coconut than caramel. Ok product
I have tried three shower gels from #bylyko that #lykoinflutester. The container is sleek and simple in its design, I liked that the color clearly showed which scent the product was in☺️ Easy to press and get the product out. It takes a little time to get foam, it's a bit runny gel before it foams. The foam is light and fluffy when activated. The skin feels clean and fresh, and I don't experience the skin becoming dry from the product. But, the scent is way too strong for me. It smells intensely of caramel/coffee when you wash yourself, fortunately, the scent doesn't linger long, so it's manageable. Soap with spa feel!
This product is a fascinating and sensory soap (I have ADHD and rubbing it out in my hands while it transforms into foam - is incredibly satisfying 😁). It is exactly what it says - a shower gel (a bit more watery than other gel-form products), which after application transforms into a thick, yet pleasant foam. Upon application, it glides easily over the skin and feels almost a little "oily", as if it sits on top of the skin. But the foam thickens quickly and works well if you also want to give yourself a scrub or massage - as it takes a little extra time to rinse off. I have dehydrated and sensitive skin, but I don’t feel that this dries out my skin afterwards. The scent of "Caramel Crush" has a sweet and pleasant fragrance. However, I think it smells like more than just caramel. There’s something almost a little floral in the scent (but nothing that bothers. The sweet scent of caramel is the main focus!). It also lingers on the skin afterwards and helps you feel fresh throughout the day. 😊 I am a person who is sensitive to scents, but this smells just right. The only downside is that the pump dispenses quite a bit at once and it creates a lot of foam - this is a concentrated product. A few weeks ago, a package from Lyko arrived with three different shower gels! I find it very fun to test new body products, so I was super excited! ⭐️Pretty simple bottle (doesn't need to be anything special, the content is more important) ⭐️For me, who goes to the gym a few days a week, it's important that the product doesn't dry out my skin. And I think it delivers on its promise, cleans without drying out, and my skin feels soft and hydrated ⭐️When it comes to scents, it's very individual what one likes. I personally love this scent! Okay, but not my type of scent
I have tested various products from Lyko over the past month, 3 shower foams in different scents. 🤎MY SKIN ON MY BODY - Very dry overall, especially during the winter months. - I use self-tanner a bit, and need to scrub my body more often. 🤎PLUS - Very good price! Usually, I find that these types of shower foams are more expensive, but I think this one is sold for a much more reasonable amount. - I have very thin and light hair on my legs, and this works great for shaving my legs too, big plus! - I find the product to be very economical, and that it will last a long time. 🤎MINUS - I wish it was more moisturizing. - The scent feels a bit chemical, and unfortunately stings too much for me. 🤎OVERALL OPINIONS It’s a very simple packaging, the product comes out as a gel at first, which then turns into a foam, and I find that it makes it easy to distribute and get a reasonable amount. I think it has a good lather and cleans well. I wish, as mentioned, for a bit more moisture. Unfortunately, I didn’t like the scent of this at all, and I have a bit of trouble describing exactly what it smells like, but it’s a bit too sweet and “chemical” in my opinion, and therefore I will not continue to use it. Sweet scent
Too sweet and a bit musty for my taste, so I'm taking one star off. The consistency goes from gel to foam, which I'm not really into. I prefer those that come out as foam directly, as it's easier to dose the product. Lovely scent and good for the skin🤩
This shower gel quickly became a favorite of mine. I really like products that smell good and are gentle on the skin, and this one truly delivers on both. The scent is warm and sweet, without being too much, and actually makes the shower a bit of an extra pleasant experience. I have quite dry and somewhat sensitive skin, but this works really well for me. My skin hasn't reacted negatively, and it feels both clean, soft, and comfortable after the shower. It also lathers well and feels creamy and nice on the skin. A lovely shower foam
As #LYKOINFLUTESTER, I got the chance to try #BYLYKO Caramel Crush Foaming Shower Gel. It smells a bit too much like candy for my taste, and I have a bit of a hard time with that, so it brings the rating down a bit. It has a lovely consistency and looks like a gel at first but quickly transforms into a soft foam. It is long-lasting, and I feel that my skin feels moisturized after the shower.105 views
