Leaves your makeup looking like your skin

Not the best
I wanted to like this beauty blender, but it just didn't perform the way I expected it to. The sponge felt a bit too firm, even after dampening, and it didn't help blend my products evenly and it actually moved the products around and left patchy areas on my face. It isn't the worst tool I've tried and it's a pretty sponge with the purple and white marbled effects which is why I'm giving it two stars but overall it didn’t make my makeup routine any easier and I actually found myself reaching for my other beauty blender to fix what this one couldn't do. It is way too hard... unlike other sponges I've tested, this one doesn't press the products into the skin at all. I've tried it for several days but can't get it to work at all.
