    Green instead of brown

    My gray hair strands have turned green. It's awful! I will throw away the remaining product. Don't buy it!

      Hi. If you have gray hair strands, you first need to dye with henna so the white hair strands get pigment. They will turn orange/red. Let the color (henna) sit for a long time, i.e. at least 4 hours. Then you can dye with the darker shades and indigo. Indigo needs some pigment to adhere to, otherwise it will turn green/blue.
