A hair mask that is really THICK in consistency, which I love! And even though it’s thick, it’s easy to rinse out and doesn’t leave behind a thin film like other hair masks with a thicker consistency can. Something my hair loves!
After a few weeks of use, here comes, as usual, an honest review: This is a protein-enriched leave-in treatment used after washing your hair, designed to help with heat protection up to 200 °C, care for the hair, and smooth the lengths. It's hard to say if the heat protection really works, but I would never choose a leave-in without that feature since I always blow-dry my hair after washing it. The product's consistency is really like rich butter in a good way. It's compact, which means you need an INCREDIBLY small amount of product to achieve the desired result. This means it will last a very long time before you need to buy a new one. I can really feel it penetrating the lengths, and if tangles have formed, they disappear in no time. The product doesn't just sit on the hair as a protective layer and leave a greasy coating, which I thought it might do because of the thick consistency, but the hair absorbs it and becomes silky. My feeling is that it provides moisture immediately and gives a luxurious shine after blow-drying. For those who have seen my previous reviews, I always comment on the bottle design; it never affects the product itself but still gives a feeling when you take it out. And I really like the pink together with the navy blue. Incredible shampoo!!
The shampoo promises a lot, it is for us with damaged hair, it is supposed to be enriched with protein and other important nutrients, it should also help to maintain healthy and shiny hair, and the result should be soft and smooth. And most importantly in a shampoo, does it get the hair clean? Can it give all this and at the same time make the hair feel maximally clean? The answer to that is: YES! I really like this shampoo, my scalp really feels clean while also feeling moisturized? I don’t understand how that works at the same time but this product has shown that it does! With most shampoos, you can experience a certain roughness afterwards, which I actually don’t mind since conditioner softens afterwards anyway. But this shampoo doesn’t give the same roughness at all, which I thought might make the hair not feel clean, but oh, how wrong you can be. I really feel that the whole hair, including the scalp, feels extra clean if you know what I mean? The scalp feels fresh after use! I love the design of the bottle, not just the colors which go in navy blue and pink but also that it is a big bottle with a sturdy pump. The scent is a scent I find hard to describe, it gives me the feeling of a luxurious spa. UNOVE is a completely new brand to me and so far the brand has really delivered! SKIN TYPE: SENSITIVE
A gel-based cleanser that foams and is supposed to quickly remove makeup and dirt without being drying. MY SKIN TYPE: Sensitive Surface dry Reactive skin prone to imbalance I don’t notice a strong scent, it foams nicely, is economical, and does what it promises, except drying out the skin. At least mine. I do have sensitive and dry skin, and like with most cleansers, it becomes dry immediately after use, also with this one. However, if you apply serum and the rest of your skincare immediately after, it’s not a problem. When I wear makeup, I use this twice to be completely sure everything is gone, which it is! ✅ Positive that there is a refill ✅ No strong scent ✅ Works for my sensitive skin ✅ You really feel clean ❌ The price, it’s expensive even though you don’t need much product. If it hadn’t dried out my skin, I would have accepted that. Not a bad product, but for my sensitive skin
A BioLumin-C Serum that is supposed to contribute to more radiance and a smoother skin texture. It also promises to even out skin tone by counteracting uneven pigmentation that can come from, for example, sun damage, pollution, stress, etc. Additionally, it should also help make the skin surface smoother and more elastic. MY SKIN TYPE: Sensitive Surface dry Reactive skin with a tendency to imbalance Unfortunately, my skin is not the easiest; it has become very sensitive over the past year after having been more tolerant before. That means this product is too strong for me right now. Will I get rid of it? ABSOLUTELY NOT! This will be what I use as soon as I have a stable base again, but right now my skin reacts to everything that actually makes a difference in the long run. One of the key ingredients in this is Ascorbic Acid, which is pure vitamin C, the most effective form. On more tolerant skin, it would give a clearer and faster result than other vitamin C serums that contain less effective variants. I really wanted to love this because vitamin C is an ingredient I actually miss in my routine – especially now as I approach 30 and want to work more preventively against aging. But my skin is currently sensitive and surface dry, and here I notice that this type of active vitamin C can be a bit too much, especially on dry areas like the nose. However, unlike other vitamin C serums, my skin did not react as strongly as it otherwise can, which makes me really believe that I will be able to use it in the long run. It also gave an incredible glow and sat very nicely under makeup! Is it a bad product, you might wonder? Absolutely not, this is a bottle that gives you exactly what you are looking for in a vitamin C serum, but right now it does not work for my skin. Which skin type does it suit? ✅ Suitable for: Normal skin Tolerant skin Combination skin without sensitivity Pigmentation / sun damage Those who want glow + anti-age ❌ Less suitable for those of us with: Sensitive skin Reactive skin Surface dry skin with flakes Rosacea tendencies The serum is expensive but, as I said before, has more effective ingredients than others to give a faster and clearer result, and very little product is needed when used, which means it will last a long time. LOVE the scent
It's described as a refreshing hair mist and couldn't have said it better myself. I read some reviews down here where some don't like the scent, I am NOT one of them. I love it?? It's perfect? Smells fresh and soft at the same time, and the scent lasts in my extensions all day while my own hair lets it go a bit faster, maybe after 5 hours? I love the feeling of walking past someone who you just feel has hair that smells so incredibly freshly washed, and I really think this does that. Absolutely a new favorite in my hair care routine! GLASS IN A BOTTLE
This product from Maria Nila is also a hit! I use it after I wash my hair, and it gives shine to my hair. Also for my extensions, which usually tend to be quite dull and lifeless after the shower. I have lost quite a bit of hair for a while now, and I am finally starting to get it back, but that means I have some short hair strands on top of my head that can be perceived as frizz, but they are not. On the other hand, all the other frizz that is usually very visible shows a noticeable difference with this product! I love the color of the bottle, the scent is lovely, a perfect spray when you spray, and a big plus is that it has heat protection in it! It sinks nicely into the hair without laying on top like a film. Too dry and damaged hair
I had a whim a few weeks ago and put in extensions, so when I found out I would be testing some products for hair, I was so happy! This means I can give you both a review for those with extensions and without! Because if there’s one thing an extension requires, it’s products that moisturize and repair! This product is just for repairing hair, and I really feel like I get a more manageable hair after I’ve washed it and put this in! However, when I put it in dry hair, I feel more like it lays like a film over the hair, so for me, both my own hair and the extensions have appreciated having it in after a wash instead! The hair gets a shine and looks healthy right after use 💚 A BIG plus is that it has heat protection in it, perfect for me who always blow-dries my hair right after washing it. I love products that contribute multiple things so that you don’t have to buy several different products. THE PERFECT SCENT!
SO fun with a perfume, first (and hope not last) time I get the chance to test a perfume and give you an honest review on! 😍 First reaction: Floral, fruity, clear passion fruit, vanilla and at the same time fresh Not heavy but sensual. I think it feels very unique? It has like everything? And the clarity of the passion fruit makes me believe that this will be the perfect perfume for spring and summer. SKIN TYPE FOR REFERENCE: Dry, sensitive/damaged skin barrier for the moment. I had a bottle of this serum before that I went through and was on the last drops of it, so I was incredibly happy when I got this to review for you for a few weeks (even though I have tested it for months before) With my damaged skin barrier, it’s hard to find products that really work and where my skin doesn’t react strongly. This serum, which is filled with a lot of moisture and is very gentle on the skin, is the perfect serum for me and my skin! No strong scent! The serum also works very well under makeup without flaking and gives a hydrated look.
