    Skincare Routine

Can this be used as an "everyday" eye cream? Or should you use it now and then considering it has retinol? What is a good eye cream otherwise that does what it should without irritating 😅

Here you go! Azelaic acid works to calm the skin and it is pigment evening. It is rated as relatively mild compared to some strong acids (AHA/BHA) and retinoids, which makes it a good step for "the next level" in active ingredients. It is important to test it through a patch test for 24 hours before applying it to the face, to know how your skin reacts. And SPF! When you use products that make the skin sensitive, you must have SPF all seasons. 🤍 For new skin, it is good to start with a product that has 10% azelaic acid. Gradually incorporate it over a period during evenings when you are not using retinal/retinol or other strong acids, and increase gradually 😊 Be patient – give the product 6-8 weeks before you assess its effect on e.g. pigmentation/uneven skin tone. And feel free to have a moisturizing cream or serum every evening 🥰 Good luck 🥰

    Day or night cream!

Is this intended as a day or night cream? Used every day or a little now and then when the skin needs a boost?

Hey hey Emelie 😃👋 This cream can be used both as a day and night cream 😍👌 Many use it in the evening for an extra moisture boost overnight, but if you have very dry skin, it's perfect to use in both routines - it works really well under makeup 😊 Take care of yourself!

Hey Emelie! I absolutely think this is a great alternative after you've used Cera ve retinol. But be sure to gradually introduce your skin to the new product. Start with 1 night a week and slowly increase the days 💗 Take care! ✨

    Which vitamin c

I want to give vitamin c serum another chance, the last time I used it (8 years ago) I got a rash but I also don't think I knew how to use it. I have sensitive skin but as I said, I want to give vitamin c another chance! What is recommended? For a beginner? And when should I take it? I use retinol in the evening

You can use it daily depending on what kind of products you are using otherwise, if it feels like a complete jungle, I warmly recommend our skin test via the LYKO app. This way, you get tailored advice and tips on which products suit you and your skin! ☺️ The ones who help you are trained and authorized skin therapists and pharmacists. Switching Retinol

I started using this retinol maybe a year ago but have been without it since May-24. I saw some improvement in my skin but I'm going to start with retinol again and wonder if I should go with this one again or if I should try something a little stronger. I had no issues with this when I started using it in terms of stinging or anything like that! So I'm looking for a good beginner retinol that is a bit stronger than this :)

    Cream

Is this greasy? Is it good as a night cream or day cream? Do you use it every day?

Hey Emelie! 👋 This provides moisture but doesn't get too greasy, as it easily absorbs into the skin and can be used morning and night as needed. 🤭 Take care! 🌠

    Night cream?

I'm looking for a night cream; that isn't too greasy. I'm currently using cicaplast as a night cream but find it a bit too greasy to use every night. I have normal-dry skin. For the day, I use Ordinary's hyaluronic acid serum + kombucha essence from Dr. Ceuracel and then as the last step Ole Henriksen peptide moisturizer. (Purple jar) I'm thinking of getting the Moisturizer ampoule from Pyunkang as a last step in my skincare routine. I want a glow but don't want a too greasy cream for the night. Usually at night I just have the cream + possibly a BHA toner. Is this cream a good alternative for a night cream? Or do you have other tips? 😇

Hey there Emelie! 👋🤍 I just want to start by saying that you have such an incredibly nice skincare routine 🥰 If you find that the cicaplast is too greasy, then this one from Cerave could absolutely fit nicely as it goes well with the other products and is a bit lighter in consistency 🍂 lyko.com/sv/cerave/cerave-facial-moisturizing-lotion-pm?fromsearch=2480-105-0052 Then you can instead use the cicaplast as a night mask when your skin really needs more moisture 🤍 Take care! 🎉
