I got mine a couple of years ago from my mom. Because I needed a new hairbrush to detangle my knots, and I have had several different hairbrushes from this brand but without handles. So I knew I would like this brush that I have now had for a couple of years. Because it detangles my knots really well and it doesn’t hurt even when I have let my hair get so tangled that it’s almost like one big knot in my hair, I have been able to get it out with a little help from conditioner and water and this hairbrush without damaging my hair too much and without losing too much hair and without it hurting.
But one thing I started to notice after about a couple of years was that water started to get into the brush, but it usually dries in a couple of hours, but after a while more water started to collect in the brush and it could take a couple of days to dry (I noticed this because I wash my hair 1 to 3 times a week). Recently I have noticed that it seems to have a lot of water left in it because when I have picked it up the last few times quite a lot of water has come out of it even though it has been drying for over a week. So I took it apart by separating the plastic parts and then I saw that the hairbrush had started to mold. Luckily I noticed it quite early. You can kind of see it in my pictures where the mold is all the small dark spots on the pink plastic.
But I would still recommend the brush because it’s good. (But please understand my bad grammar, I have dyslexia)
